Is it possible to redeem GTA V on Steam by having it on RGSC?

I bought GTA V as an RGSC activation code on a different website. I tried the code on Steam when I bought it, it only worked on RGSC. My RGSC and Steam accounts are linked but I don't see any ways of acquiring GTA V on Steam through it. Is there a way to do this?

No, if you want Steam version you need to buy GTA V directly from Steam.

There is no Steam keys for it(some sites offer GTA V Steam Gifts but price is almost same and imo not worth to use them vs directly from Steam).

You can add it to Steam as Non-Steam game.

That's a shame. Is the RGSC version inferior to the Steam version in some way? For some reason, the game always defaults to Windowed mode and screws up the aspect ratio every time I launch the game. Is there a fix for this?
