payout on Headhunter and sightseerer

Just curious. HH and SS seem to decrease $$ each time I play. Is it a time thing where it subtracts a few $$ the longer it takes?

I think it increases the longer it takes. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't believe that there's a decrease in payout for the length of time - quite the opposite (as Taterman stated). 

 

For maximum payment, I usually wait until the countdown timer is less than five minutes before completing the activity. That way you usually get $20K-$30K without complication. 

 

(unless things have been changed over the last few months - I haven't done VIP work since Tuners dropped)

Yes there is a duration multiplier, like in contact missions, Mobile Operations...etc

 

Base payout for Headhunter is like 20.5k/2000 RP or so(if you play in under 2min). So its really better to play it as fast as possible, because the multiplier is weak. Same for Sightseer, albeit this one always takes longer because there are more variations, and variations that take place in Blaine County so there is more distance travelled+hacks. 

 

From memory Sightseer in 5 min pays like 23k, so still much better than playing a Contact Mission, even with 4players-on Hard.

I think you may be right.

I just screwed up Headhunter on my brand new (thats why I screwed up!) Oppressor. I had a couple of minutes left  and 3 targets remaining. I thought I was done,but I never say never and went for it.

I couldn't believe it. Before I knew it I had one target left and a little over a minute. I hit the car and the VIP ran. I had him in my kill box and looked at the time. 2 seconds left! I had one shot-if he did not die I did not win. 

He died.

With 2 seconds on the clock. And the payout was $60,000 (its 2x $$ week). Which means your probably right.
