how does time count for this week prize ride races?

So in the prize ride challenge says you have to be top 3 in a race 5 days in a row, I did first one last night at around 11:00pm, and I thought that on midnight resets the day but didn't, and is already 3:30pm and I just finished the 10th race in top 3 but still says I have only 1/5...is it not counting or am I missing something?

The new day starts at like midnight for the UK. So if you’re in the USA this could be at like 7 PM or 4 PM depending on your timezone.

All the LS Tuners stuff reset an hour after the Daily Objectives change.

 

The daily objectives change at 9 a.m. UTC+3 time, while LST changes at 10.

Mine is the same problem.  The timing is so odd on this one. 

 

Day one, early Thursday I decided to hit up the first race and get the count of 1 on my list. 

 

As time passed I suddenly started realizing that the counter wasn't working when I was going for the third race.  So I waited a little longer and did a race and it punched.  Let's say it was like 7 pm.

 

Yesterday I was going for the 4th race and it was getting really late and it still wasn't triggering.  I couldn't figure it out.  I had to do the race at midnight to get it to trigger. 

 

Today I'm on my 5th trigger and I'm starting to wonder when it'll trigger.  I tried it at 1 pm and it didn't trigger.  Hopefully it will trigger around midnight again. 

 

I know it's not UK time because that would trigger in 2 hours and I know it won't trigger at that time because I tested it yesterday.  I would venture it will trigger in 7 hours. 

 

So if you figure it out, let me know.

GTA Online Day/Week:

• Daily Objectives: Resets at 0600 UTC - This includes Treasure Chests and Shipwrecks
• Daily LSCM Challenge: Resets at 0000 (midnight) UTC
• Weekly Event: Resets on a Thursday between 0800-0830 UTC - This includes Lucky Wheel Prize and LSCM Prize Ride Challenge/Test Rides.

 

Notes: I am in UTC +12, so these timer resets are in my "prime time" 6pm, mid-day and 8pm and can be tested thoroughly.

This week's prize ride challenge - 3 different PCs/accounts:

• Day 1: Thursday night, 10:30pm 1/5
• Day 2: Friday afternoon, 3:30pm 2/5
• Day 3: Saturday afternoon, 12:30pm 3/5
• Day 4: Sunday afternoon, 11:30am tested and did not trigger 3/5, 12:30pm 4/5
• Day 5: Monday afternoon, again 10:30am 4/5, 11:30am 4/5, 12:30pm 5/5

I have no idea why Rockstar has three different times now for daily stuff to change.

I waited until 6 pm ET and I finally flipped when I won a race, so it's effectively working, but I'm not a fan of the timing.

It's pretty much when a race counts for that "day" so doing a race at 8 PM (20:00) on Friday is the same as doing a race at 3 PM (15:00) Saturday so it gets the same color.
