Radeon 9800pro Problems !?!?

Hi,

 

i have an P4 3.06 on an Asus P4G8X with an Radeon9800 Pro.

 

Game Performance is perfect but, the Textures are sometimes

_very_ lo-res.

 

IN GAME:

When i stop my car and wait some seconds, the

hi-res textures are "popping/fading" into the scene and all

looks great.

 

It´s not always. When i leave the Hotel, all Textures are hi-res. But when i drive fast and direct to another place i notice

that the street-texture becomes suddenly totally lo-res.

 

When i stop then in a "lo-res area", after a few seconds, the

high-res textures pop/fade in.

 

Why are the textures not always in hi-res Mode ?

 

Can anyone help ?
