Dancing minigame sucks

I don't mean the one from Life's a Beach but the actual minigame you can do at the club. It's horrendously difficult and it has three levels. At this point I can't even beat the first round at 3500 points lol. I don't remember how I beat all three on the Xbox version of all things. My reflexes must've gotten worse over time and no, it's not frame rate related (PC). I suck regardless of how fast the game is running lol.

Is it that hard? I don't really recall it but I will have to test it someday because it has been quite long since I played it. I know that it's harder on PS3 because you have to press the buttons before they hit the circle due to some stupid bug.

Nothing beats TBoGT's, not too hard, not too easy either, yet it's kind of relaxing

It's not as cursed as I thought lol. I managed to beat the third challenge with 8000 points even on 60 FPS (though this is running with FramerateVigilante and SilentPatch). One trick I found helpful was to mute your audio to be able to focus on the minigame better.

I actually love it and think it’s very done. The inputs are timed perfectly you can read ahead and memorize the next few inputs, close your eyes, and input them to the beat it works 100% of the time. I just wish there were more.

I think you need to hit the buttons slightly late. I was hitting them slightly too early.

The activity is kind of fun but I don't like how you can't see CJ dancing because you can't take your eyes off the arrow key signs 😕

I think I've only done the first round in the club apart from in dates.

I like the minigame, kinda reminds me of Dance Dance Revolution a bit where you gotta time your button mashing up with the screen. Though who the f*ck dances like CJ???? Did everyone in the 90s dance like that or somethin

I too hate that you can't see CJ dance because you have to keep an eye on the arrow symbols. However I think it's actually done nicely, not too difficult, not too easy (that said, I never actually completed the whole challenge, I didn't even know there were levels. I just occasionally danced).

Want a real challenge? Try completing Chemistry 5 in Bully, a single mistake is an immediate fail, and you have to use Q, W, E, A, S, D, RMB and LMB. Nightmare.

I don't remember struggling much with Bully honestly. I think in SA the thing that made me perform worse was the music lol. Maybe it's not synced so well and it threw off my reflexes. On mute I did a lot better. Same with the lowrider challenge that I failed about three times then I turned off the sound and score 11K points haha.

Yeah, I could never get the tips on the internet to try and press keys with the rhythm. They don't really match. I don't mute mine, but just try to block the music out in my head. Definitely helps!

Algonquin Assassin

I like all the minigames except this one. Truthfully I'm not a fan of rhythm based minigames because it always feels like you're focusing on the inputs instead of caring about what you're actually doing. TBOGT's interpretation of dancing is a little better, but not by much.
