Thing is i get this all the time, in random intervals. some after 20 min, others after 2 hours.

[2021-09-13 18:18:46.779] [DISPLAY] [16072] [gamelaunch] Game exited with code 0xc0000005 (3221225477)
[2021-09-13 18:18:46.789] [DISPLAY] [16072] [crashdetection] Game left no exit file.
[2021-09-13 18:18:46.789] [ ERROR ] [16072] [crashdetection] Exit code 0xc0000005 indicates a fatal game exit (reason: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION)

I have tryed almost everything.

Complete new install of Windows 10 PRO

Switched from Kingston SSD to Samsung 970 EVO plus

Switched from Corsair Vengeance 3200 16GB DC to Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 3600 32GB QC

Switched from Asrock z270 pro4 to ROG STRIX B550-F
Switched from Intel I7 6700 to AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

I have a GTX 1070 ARMOR 8GB OC

PSU: Corsair RM750i

I have a suspicion on my GPU, but have no other card to test it out.

I have tryed Rockstar Support but only to get messages of what to try like make a new admin account, clear cache, try with only standard keyboard and mouse connected.

Bios updated

all drivers + chipset updated and installed

Can't really turn my head around for somthing els to try.

sometimes i crash in Rocket leauge too, and Red Dead Redemption 2

Just from game and straight to desktop. no notification, error message or anything for that matter.

And it's not like Rockstar take somthing to them about the problem being their fault. I'm just saying, how can a complete system change not fix the problem. i'm almost there, and it only points out in their direction atm.

Any clever heads that have a way in this problem?

That error code means it failed to access memory.

When I had this problem, it turned out to be my Ram, and using lower clock speed fixed it.

Try running memtest86 overnight and see if there are any errors.

It could also be the ram of your graphics card, in that case, try lowering the clocks in MSI afterburner and see if the crashing stops.

Does your computer randomly shut off, reboot or throw blue screens too?

Edited by AirWolf359

Doesn't shutoff, reboot (exept for windows updates) bluescreens.

But something els it completely freezes the OS, clock is standing still, can still move my mouse, and open task manager sometimes.

only way to regain access or do anything, is holding the power button. very strange indeed, video about it here

Sounds and looks familiar to me. Had the same issues with that PSU in my system in the past. Turned out it was the PSU. It's somewhat known this can happen with that PSU. Before you can check the power output of the PSU via HWInfo and check in idle and under stress/load if the PSU is in the following output tolerance of the power rails - if possible while these issues occur:

Rail | tolerance in % | minimum | optimum | maximum

+12 V1DC ±5 % +11,40 +12,00 +12,60
+12V2DC ±5 % +11,40 +12,00 +12,60
+5 VDC ±5 % +4,75 +5,00 +5,25
+3,3 VDC ±5 % +3,14 +3,30 +3,47
−12 VDC ±10 % −10,80 −12,00 −13,20
−5 VDC ±10 % −4,50 −5,00 −5,50
+5 VSB ±5 % +4,75 +5,00 +5,25

If it is not in the tolerance it is an indicator the PSU is faulty. Check this and the ram via memtest.

ok.

Stress test your system (you should always do that when you upgrade so you can return it quick if the new components are bad).

Ran memtest86 while i slept. no errors at all.

I have done that. no unstability shown at all. happens mostly in GTA 5 and RDR2. when i turned from 144 FPS in Rocket League to 240 FPS (i have a 144Hz dual screen setup) i started experiencing more crashes there too.

Have not yet done the HWinfo test yet, but will do that now.

Ryzen can be a lot more touchy with memory than Intel. If you have access to any other compatible memory,I'd switch it out and run for a while to see if that was the problem.

Have already tryed with other RAM, or do you mean another brand? like Gskill etc?

Plus had same problem with my intel i7 6700, and the I5 6600k before that.

Ran GTA V and waited for crash. it took only 10 min this time. and here is the results. in my eyes nothing is wrong.

Ok, so you had the same type of crash in several different system setups, the only common factor being your GPU? Then I suspect there is something wrong with the GPU, especially since it mainly happens while gaming, and there are no random crashes when not gaming. But with these errors it is still hard to tell unless you can swap GPUs with another PC.

A few months back a mate of mine had crashing issues, which turned out to be his GPU, and we only found that out after using each other's GPUs in our systems for a while. (I started getting same errors he had, while his system was fine on my GPU)

Both GPU and PSU is still the same. had my suspicion on the GPU since that start of it.
Mainly game crashes yeah, but also the Freezing of the OS, clock standing still can sometimes still open Task manager, i can open the menu up and push "Shut down PC" but nothing happens.
just don't have the cash for a new GPU, in these GPU god forsaken pricing times.

Looks good to me. There is not much left. Maybe you can get a graphics card from friends for testing purposes to narrow it more down.

Yep. He needs to start isolating. Try the gpu in a completely different system. Then memory. Then, etc.

He updated drivers and ran Memtest and the basics, right?

Time to isolate.

With Ryzen, it is a best bet to get a "kit" (like 2 8Gig modules sold as a 16Gig kit-in theory,it should be the exact same spec memory tolerances).

but do this first-get a friend with a working stable system and swap his vid card for yours and let him use it for a day or two. If it is stable, then swap the memory and see if he has any problems after a a day or two (not a few hours-errors may take time to show themselves).

Your temps look fine. I'd swap out components (btw-that what a "test bench" is -a stable system that you know works right, and you swap in a component that you can test) until I found the culprit.

First start with the graphics card, then the memory, the psu, then as a last resort, the CPU.

If it is not one of those then it must be the software. You'll have to wipe-not reinstall-wipe everything and fresh install Windows then one game and test it. If it runs ok for a day or two install another game.

What you are trying to do is tract down the thing that is messing up.

i am using kits. all bought togther.

I have  now tryed with a new GPU (Asus GTX 1080 STRIX A8GB) and problem persists.
thoughts: can a router do somthing? cause my GF is experiencing it too, not that often tho.
and as seen on the picture. my kingston drive is at 66% health could that make some readings fail?
i have changed EVERYTHING exept my PSU now, and will be completely lost if changing that doesn't fix that.
also have my old drives installed. cause need space...
think i'll try with my kingston and HDD disconnected.
Will update when tryed.

Udpdate: Have now tryed with no extra drives exept the newst with windows on alone. still crashing... last thing is a new PSU then i have changed my whole pc, and still have the same error.

Is she experiencing the hanging in windows too?

No
found out that running my RAM with the D.O.C.P profile (AMD's answer to XMP) it makes it crash. to be honest i thought i tried turning it off.

now i just have to figure out a way to run my PC with 3600Mhz or it's a waste of money.

So the IF isn't working stable with the clock and timings writen in the profile of the ram which gets used by DOCP. As far as i know you can do it by working with the FCLK. Means some testing to find stable clocks and voltages as a sweetspot for your 3600MHz. I think you will be able to find a proper solution for your system to run stable and really close or even at 3600MHz.
