State Of Ponderosa

Decided to make a State in the GTA universe based off My Home state of Colorado.

 

"Welcome to Ponderosa, The Mountainous state, Litter, Long Winters, Unlivable summer conditions, and a false sense of superiority just because you live in a fancy skiing village can all be accomplished in this one state. Come visit the Capital of Colfax (Denver), with the Worlds Longest street in America, Athen Ave, Cheap hookers, Neon lights and smog pepper this pristine lane, feel free to turn in any Needles you find on the side of the road to your local Pawn shop.

 

If climbing big rocks is your fancy, you could also visit the Tallest mountain the state, Err... Second tallest...or third tallest? Awh who keeps track of that, Visit Gables Peak, named After the So-called brave adventurer Beauregard Gables, who so heroically found a river in Lannahechee and stayed for a while in Ponderosa.  Enjoy the nearly 2 hour hike, low oxygen level, and annoying weddings being held on the top by Rich people.

 

 You could also come on down to Ponderosa Springs (Colorado Springs, Colorado), where there's nothing to do! You could visit Fort Jackson (Fort Carson), named after legendary Army scout, Gen. Thomas "Jackie" Jackson who bravely murdered tens of thousands of Native American Men, Women, and Children throughout the Area! Genocide not your thing?

 

Visit Spring's best known attraction, Casper Mountain, Yes this beautiful mountain that is totally not an underground base is closed nearly 70 hours a week for no reason at all, can't wait? Feel free to hike downtown and see the Glorious vistas from far away! Yes, because nothing says Beauty like staring at Mountains from your Hotel room. 

 

 Of course, Ponderosa isn't all Vistas and Sunshine, you could also visit the Rural Southeastern Countryside, These forgotten areas which are literally never shown on maps for some reason and which are never spoken about even though they ARE Ponderosa will fill you will delight at the sight of , Tractors! Plains! and most excitingly, Lakes! A few of these Towns worth mentioning are, Cinci, (Lamar, Colorado) this small rural farming community, named as one of the Poorest places in Ponderosa, which also has the highest number of Bikers hit by Semi trucks per capita of the world, Assholes with Big trucks who make noise at 3am, and the World - Famous SeptemberFest, held in October for some reason.  

 

Just a few miles down the road from Cinci, you can find the Small Rural town of Tobagas (Las animas, Colorado), Need cheap rocks? "Legal" Weed, and a sense of a city dying from the outside-in? Come on down and see the wonderful housing that is literally decaying into the foundation, Rampant corruption within the Sherriff's department, and best of all, Broken glass and Dead animal carcasses!  This beautiful city will be a sight to remember.

 

You kept driving huh? Well your next destination is Las Sabio (La Junta, Colorado), This historical city on the  Tabascas Trail will leave you in awe at the decaying main street and hilly roads. Don't be shy to visit multiple parks within the Area, most likely filled with Drifters and Homeless people. 

 

Take pride in at least you're not the Neighboring city of Meteora (Rocky ford, Colorado), known for One simple thing, Cantaloupe and Watermelons. This city, soaked full of urine, decaying houses, and Number 2 best Chernobyl impression will be a city to remember!

 

Our last destination is Townero (Pueblo, Colorado), The US's most violent city, rampart violent Mexican gangs, Police corruption, and more all in the cozy shadow of the Padre Mountain range.

 

Feeling residential? Visit Townero West (Pueblo west, Colorado), pretty much the same as Townero, but with more expensive housing, strip malls, and Rich people who would probably call the police on you if you're a skin tone darker then they are. All of this may sound rough, even scare you away, but do not fret, for Ponderosa, is a Magical place, Magical if you have money. "
