DFF Files crashes my game.

So I recently tried editing some skins in 3ds max for samp but every time I export the skin even if it's not edited just exporting it and putting it in gta san andreas it crashes the game.

How are you exporting the skins? If you are using the "EXPORT TO DFF" button, the resulting dff will crash the game when loaded in the game.

When exporting skins, you have to press the "Bones/Skin Export" button under the "SA. Char Options" tab on the DFF IO window.

Yeah, that happened me long time ago... So frustrating lol

Try this: Go to the modify tab on the right of the screen, click and drag the skin modifier (the one that's blue on the picture) to the top of the  modifier stack. It should look like this:

After doing that, click on any part of the model and try exporting again, it should work now.

Now that's a weird error. From the look of it, is about the model's Vertex count and it's crashing the script. What model are you trying to export? Maybe it's too big for the plugin to handle...

I found a skin that looks nice but the hair is glitched + I want to add new pants and a new pair of shoes to him.

By "the hair is glitched" i'm talking about his dreads, he has brown dreads but in game they are white.

Idk if this is "too big" but the dff file is 2.79mb.

I see, so if you import it and try export it unmodified, 3dsmax gives you that error then? If that's the case then I'm out of ideas.

Maybe the scripts you are using are not that compatible with 3dsmax 2010? I remember I had to use an old version of the DFF IO scripts on 3dsmax 2010 because the latest versions didn't work on it.

Yes, didn't do anything to the skin, just tried to export it and it gives me that error....
