Is there any way to replace meshes within a .wdd file? (GTA4)

Long story short, I have the gta iv winter mod, and I want to make the long coat the only clothes they police officers have. How can I replace mesh in a .wdd file? The file I'm trying to edit is a ped, m_y_cop.wdd. Hope you can help.

Openformats export it, open the main file with notepad, remove the component you don't want, openformats import it back in.
