Simple Native Trainer phone call problem

When playing GTA IV and using the trainer there is a problem picking up the phone. The phone call just skips or sometimes rings forever and you can't continue with the story.

I was playing GTA IV with the trainer disabled and had no issues. I started TLAD with the trainer disabled and Jim calls but I can't pick up the phone and then suddenly Johnny skips the phone call.

Is it possible to delete these files and there will no longer be this problem?
