I can totally see modern Disney doing it though, and picking the female... despite majority playing male. Just remain vague as to what Revan was, simply refer to them as Revan. By the sounds of it Aspyr (who until now have only ever really been a port studio) created a vertical slice that they showed to Sony and Lucas at the end of last month, and then they immediately shelved their work on the game and began looking for new work. Which basically sounds like Sony and Lucas took one look at their work and thought "errrrrrrrrrrrr, no thanks". There were apparently a bunch of other problems with the development as well, apparently they expected it to be out by late this year but the devs Schreier talked to said 2025 was more realistic lol. Sounds like Saber may take over development but they're in a pickle themselves being based in Russia and all. It was a bizarre choice of developer to pick to handle such a massive project though. Tell ya what would be an interesting bet from this, what comes out first, this or Bloodlines 2? Both games I was very looking forward to... both games that are stuck in development hell. The idea was that this would be a remake so it could be treated as a big brand new RPG, as loads of people haven't played it before. I'd absolutey love to see what BG&E2 currently looks and plays like. I remember watching them do dev streams years ago where they had this giant city with crazy scale, space ships, different planets... but they gave off no idea on what the game actually was, and it apparently was online only at the time? F*cked if I remember, lol. Feels like a game they green lit cause one of the old OG's wanted to do it but they never decided on what type of game they wanted to make so they had artist/sound/asset creation teams make this genuinely cool looking world in preparation for when they figured out what the game actually was going to be.
