No no no nothing has changed same engine same look and feel for online since 2013.... low textures for avatars and you want us to pay again for online 6x or 4 if your on consoles. For 2x The price

what you did is recycle the ps4 version and added reshade and added 4k 60 fps which is something pc can do and yellow license plate (hanky you got your plates now).

We arent going to be fooled this time. ps4/one you got lucky cause you added new things first person and improvements to textures. 

 

This looks like pc but on high settings.  

 

The online section that you showed looks like the pc maybe the different lights in the room is different copy and paste

 

mods you can delete it but i gotta put r* on blast. this is a cash scam a really bad one.

 

Its 2021 you could add dynamic hair but you didnt everything feels and look like the ps4/one

 

I seen games like no man sky which was crap turned into something great with the updates and listening to the community.

As a 2nd command to a clothing brand you need to talk to the community. Have a stream showing what is new and different and compare with the previous gen so we know its worth the $70.

Gtaseries With the comparison

 

They removed the antenna in the deer scene or that is "next gen rendering" 

 

It looks like bloom been added in and the sun changed.

 

Skyscraper has lights on roof now in e&e much brighter or thats bloom fliter

 

PC version is still king. 

 

Some textures looks worst as it is 

 

And they want to charge ppl for this..

 

oh and the building is still not finished after 8 years......

I don't think the plate is yellow, it seems to be a lightning bug. If that's true it's hilarious, almost every car has that weird yellow plate. In the base game we have variety so its really weird every car have this yellow plate. By the way it's ugly, it just looks like a yellow filter on top of the vanilla plate. Maybe it's a bonus for returning player ? A "gold" plate ? wet fart indeed.

I thought it was a yellow fliter but then you see the oncoming traffic with it as well

They never released a patch for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X so they remained 1080p 30 fps.

Yep, that's exactly why I said it was weird. Every car have this plate. In base game we have the whites, blue and the black plate in vanilla traffic, in this trailer, every plate is yellow. Except car in cutscenes. You can find white plate in the trailer but I believe it's cutscenes. I don't remember the campaign well enough. I don't know what to think right know, why yellow plate, why it look ugly and why every car have this plate. To me, this game should be a free upgrade for PS4/one owner. There's nothing. Even the license plate is "pissed". "You can copy my homework just change it up a bit so it doesn't look obvious you copied" right there.

I'm bewildered at how a "simple port" like this can take so long. (Remember Zelnick boasting in an interview a while back that they "don't just do simple ports." Uuh - yeah.)

 

Just speculation, but maybe the integration of Rockstar Dundee didn't happen as quickly and smoothly as planned, especially while everyone's WFH. Dundee, a small team, took on a load of new hires during lockdown too.

 

But issues like that should not be rocket science to a very large, well-resourced professional corporate entity with dedicated HR and planning departments. They are not unforeseeable or unavoidable risks.

 

I'm sorry to say this but can anyone convince me that they're not currently trying their very best to look like a bunch of absolute clowns? Again.

on the plus side KOTOR remake, GT7 and spiderman 2 seemed to have more value from the small information I got from those trailers, I'd be willing to wait for those ones more. No idea what the point of that gta V next gen trailer was but good to know the next generation of gta will have the same campaign from 2013 and the same incredibly boring online mode. 

Atleast lost judgement is coming soon.

Pretty sure online is incredibly well removed from R* North. I doubt the houser bros even know the Orbital Cannon or Oppressors even exist.

 

 

Side note: I'm beyond pumped for gt7. See, that game is actually an expanded and enhanced version of GT Sport. And you really really can see a huge difference between the two games. The big heavy hitter trailers scream quality and effort. The GTA trailer was just a f*cking afternoon effort.

Here's the catch - I got GTA V for PS3 and I didn't mind the enhanced PS4 version at all. I got it. I was even gifted GTA V for PC on Steam when it released.

 

I mean why not? GTA V released on 7th gen A MONTH before the release of of 8th gen. Obviously it was pushing the boundaries of the older consoles.

And when it released on 8th gen it actually brought something new other than better graphics/framerate. First person mode, new vehicles, DLC vehicles on streets, more weapons, more sh*t to do, more wildlife, more radio, overall at least there was some incentive plus it was a relatively new game so trying out more stuff was interesting.

 

All that the PS5 version has is... Graphics - that we've already seen on PC. Maybe we might get new features but... We don't really care all that much anymore, everyone would rather play a new game at this point, there's a difference between an enhanced version releasing just a year after the original, and releasing a SECOND enhanced version nearly 9 years later again. Without GTA 6.

Not surprised by this at all. We always knew this was just going to be the same ancient game with prettier graphics (That still won’t come close to a powerful PC) to make it enhanced. Will also get some new items and and adversary mode to handle the expanded part.

 

It’s the few people that took it too literal and expected to see new maps, 100 player sessions, etc that will be shocked.

 

Doesn’t matter though because regardless of what a couple hundred people on a message board and a few hundred whiners on social media say, the game is going to sell like crazy and make them hundreds of millions.

That's fair, sounds like me with how many times I've bought San Andreas over time as well with re-releases, remastered or tablet versions etc. Crazy really.

 

But to be fair, most have their one preferred platform and tend to only buy the one copy there too. I feel this is more an issue for the more hardcore fan which is far fewer compared. Most will probably await sales or giveaways like how GTA:O standalone will be free on PS5 when released for a spell.

 

I get your point overall though. But personally I'd be happy if all R*'s old games were available on PS5, weather remastered (as I believe the company made more than enough that they can grow and have a 'retro department' as well as plenty to create new titles) or as they already are, just for convenience of not having to pull out my PS3 when I fancy a play of the older games yet to move up.

 

But alas, I wouldn't doubt you as a fan of course. Being here with this thread shows you care, I know I've spent plenty if time with my complaints and wants for GTA and such. So much room for more/better with these games.
