2014 is the Benefactor Serano, E&E is the Rapid GT cabrio.

 

FOV in the Rapid GT is same as its currently is.

"for any old game" - no, for a game on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Yes, it is a remaster of an old game, but it is supposed to be a PS5/XBX game with improved graphics. Those effects look like trash even for a PS4 or Xbox One game. Like a nooby Photoshp/GIMP smudge effect.

i mean i wasn't expecting completely new game but.. really rockstar? at least ps3 to ps4 we got some new interesting things like first person etc, graphics were nice too, here it's like.... what is the point of even delaying it? like either they don't show something completely new with makes it delayed or i have no clue

Agree to disagree. Particle effects are not cheap computation-wise. Very detailed particles can't really be done without high-end CPUs, which the new consoles finally bring to the table.

I am not gonna touch this. Especially because of TAKETWO's stance on modding.

 

Say what you will about Saints Row but at least they actually did a lot when they remastered Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 5 seems to be good if you look past the new saints.

I had high hopes they would "complete" the Mile High Club in Online but it still looks unfinished from what I can tell.

Even before they were gone the series had been declining with more and more fan favorite features being left on the cutting room floor in the name of chasing the prestige of crafting world simulators and realism.

 

Now we arrive in 2021. We have a delay for a *second* remaster of a game that is only 8 years old. All creativity and new features are being poured into their cash cow Online while the people who play story mode get shafted. 

 

Now we have staff openly ass kissing this tomfoolery both here and on social media.

Would be especially pleased if they fixed the FPS in full sessions. My poor gtx 960m runs the game at 20-25fps when in sessions with more than 20 ish people.

Tbf that kinda sounded unlikely despite it being cool, I was discussing this the other day with some folk over in the GTAO forum and there'd be quite a few things they'd need to change for that to work out, I'd love to see it too but... GTAO prep missions, among other things.

 

Would be a great future DLC idea though.

They could have easily scored some positive points if they actually reworked the Online content into the story mode. The fact they are just doing some minor enhancement is such a pathetic selling point.

 

Rockstar used to be my favorite developer growing up. I don't recognize them anymore.

I think a higher-end CPU would definitely help out there, provided it does run better in Story Mode. I moved from a lower-end X4 860K CPU to a Ryzen 5 2600X last September (and have since upgraded again to a 3600), and my GTA Online FPS went from around 30 FPS to maxing my then-GPU (R9 270X 2GB) out at all times. It's more an issue with CPU utilisation than it is a GPU usage issue.

I don't care. It should be a FREE upgrade. Nobody should be forced to pay up again when this is literally a PC port for consoles. They could've chosen to update the game via BC but no! Take-Two are too greedy to do that.

I just had a big LOL when I saw this. There's literally NOTHING different that you can clearly say "yeah it's changed dude". They had ONE year for this and now it's getting delayed again  What are you gonna do Rockstar? Change license plates to blue this time? LMAO. Rockstar is done man. All the actions since past year prove this. Dan Houser leaving, GTA Expanded Dong and Enhanced License Plates, T2 DMCA'ing mods and suing random modders. We are seeing a decline of a legendary company.

I was expecting to be disappointed.  In this way the trailer truly exceeded my expectations!
