Does Rockstar listen to their community? I think not

I personally believe that rockstar does not listen to what the community asks for, back then they listened near 2016 I believe. Now they have added the Oppressor Mk2 in the game and most players have asked for it to be removed because it does not fit within the timeline its in which i agree on. Most players have also said that Rockstar wants us to grief each other which is true, whenever we are delivering heist prep equipment or Drugs, some are always grieved by other players because the game says so and the game allows that to happen. And most players have asked for it to be removed for awhile (mostly have asked for global signal to be removed) and they have not listened. I definitely believe that rockstar wont listen to there community anytime soon.

yes i dont think they listen to us anymore. its sad to say but i think they mostly just listen to money. ever since gta online became super big. rockstar changed. before we got story dlcs and they did those great asked and answered posts. but now they just give us whatever they want to give. i have a feeling that if everyone stopped buying shark cards and less people were playing. they would move on to new games. but people keep feeding them money and that just delays any new games even longer.

 

i know they recently added the tuners dlc. and that was a fan requested dlc. so i guess they listened a little. but us red dead fans have been crying out to rockstar about the lack of dlc for red dead online. we want a story dlc like undead nightmare. we want new stuff to buy in rdo. but they have not listened to that yet. all we got was CAPITALE. they just dont seem to care much about their fans. and its very upsetting.

But the head of rockstar dont really listen to the fans.

Theres probably staff who wants to make a change and make R* a better company but the head might stop them

If the recent "Expanded & Enhanced" trailer of GTA V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S doesn't show you that Rockstar isn't listening to their community; I don't know what else does.

They recently got rid of their [email protected] email. They at least used to have this up and do q&a's with things sent to that address, but they don't even do that anymore.

As I posted in another topic, it looks like this isn't new and it has been discontinued/unmonitored since at least last year. I can kinda understand too, an email like this is no longer as "intimate" as it used to be, or easy to manage at all, when the community is magnitudes larger than when that email used to be super active - each one was reviewed and discussed by humans...

To be honest, i'm really glad everyone stopped looking at Rockstar as the good guys of the industry after the "Expanded and Enchanced" situation. They've all been squeezing their workers and pulling of really unethical stunts and anti-consumer practices for more than 10 years by now. Kinda sh*tty that people just started to notice this when the big cheeses like the Housers and a bunch of other high up folk left.

Not paying voice actors royalties on GTA IV nor some music rights; overworking employees to ship out RDR as fast as possibel back in 2010; the Q&A nightmares of GTA V near its release; the way RDR2's development had tons of outsourced to subcontractors in digital sweatshops overseas (no wonder so much of the game was leaked too); the overall "frat boy" attitude in general similar to what is plaguing Activision/Blizzard at the current moment; and the list goes on.

 

Are their games great? Yeah, sure. Just like a lot of other AAA games and you can enjoy them a lot too.

Just try not to forget the price you're paying.

Something I've just discovered that would almost 'prove' R* doesn't care about their community..

 

If you go to their support page, and then to general support, you'll find an option called ''Game Feedback/Suggestions/Feature Request'', if you press that option you'll get the following message:

 

''Have something you want to tell us, ask us or bring to our attention? Feel free to use Mouthoff and let us know at https://www.rockstargames.com/.

We’re always happy to have a look at what you have to say.''

 

As you can tell by the link it redirects you to their main page... So you'd think you would press the menu button top left, and click support, but that brings you right back to where you started.... 
There's literally no easy way to leave your feedback, it appears, they don't want feedback.

 

 

Lastly, at the bottom of their site there's a button ''Do not sell my personal information'', I think they should change/add ''Do not give away my personal information for free''
