A little help in Little Haiti?

Hi all, I'm stuck on this particular mission.  The Cubans ask me to steal a Haitian gangcar with Pepe, then meet Rico or someone and some other Cubans and go bomb the Haitians.  The Cubans all get into the gated area with the cars, then they say they'll cover you while you lay the three bombs.  After I lay all the bombs, I have very limited time to get as far away as possible.

 

The thing that tripping me out is that I can't seem to get far enough away, no matter how much time I have.  There just doesn't seem to be a way out of the area, because the gate closes and having a Haitian gangcar doesn't automatically open it as I thought it might.

 

Can anyone help me with this one?

First of all, the last bomb you should place is the one closest to the door so that you can get away faster.

 

Once you've placed the bombs, don't head for the gate. If you go like halfway to the gate and go to the right, then round a corner, you'll find some steps up onto a rooftop. You can then run along the rooftop and drop down on the other side of the gate. At that point, the bombs should detonate and you'll survive.

Also try & have a python with a bit of ammo as when you get out of the car you'll need to gun down alot of enemies & on the way out you also will
