Vicetopia Posted May 21, 2003 Share Posted May 21, 2003 I'm messing with the handling and the speed/acceleration of the speed bike (PCG 600?) so it will be more efficient, or just easier to drive. It's not very easy because if 1 setting is off then the bike topples over all the time.. I'll get back later to ya, I just wanted to see who was interested. It's hard to modify because there's no option called "Handling" The only 100% successful thing is the max speed. I've increased it to about DOUBLE the original speed (it seems it won't go any faster?). I've modified the handling to where it's sharper during SMALL turns (IE: Weaving in traffic). However, during the LONG turns like 90 degrees and turning onto other roads, the skidding is a serious problem. With the increased speed it makes it even more difficult and modyfing the max lean on the bike makes it skid out of control on large turns. On a lighter note, I have SERIOUSLY tweaked up the Maverick. Not only have I increased the max speed and made the acceleration almost instand, I've also decreased the height lowering value. In other words, you go faster than before, you get to that faster speed even faster, and you're height doesn't decrease as you speed up. If anyone wants a car modified (It's easy to modify cars ), let me know. I can make whatever changes you want, basically. I can also make the other bikes (Faggio, Angel, etc) behave like a speed bike. Although I'm not interested in that modification, if anyone else is, I can take a shot at it. WHile you could more than likely, make the chopper keep increasing in height, the Vice City world would have some limits of height, and probablt have an invisible wall/roof up there. [THUG]ChRONiC Posted May 23, 2003 Share Posted May 23, 2003 With the handling of the PCJ 600 I have the accel on 150 and top speed on 999 but you must also adjust the traction multipliers otherwise it will just spin the back wheel hence the no noticable increase in speed my bike pops wheelies on full accel without pulling back sometimes I have to lean forward to stop it flipping me off on take off as for making the helis go higher its impossible yeh a tank can go that high but a heli nope hehehehe but if you get lithejoes trainer vercetti can go extremely high with the jet pack Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sk8ter Posted May 23, 2003 Share Posted May 23, 2003 I did some tweaking with my dirt bike trying to find a way to make it back flip with out me falling of but I failed I think it's impossible. but try this put the max lean at 100.0 and animlean 100.0 and wheelisstability and stoppiestability at 100.0 also. I got my dirt bike to be perfect balance when doing a stoppie and I went like 94 sec. stoppie. I messed up my wheelie handaling and now it's not perfect balanced. My true test is jumping northbound over the biker bar...I have yet to clear the building on the far side (Skumole Shack). My goal is to land next to the police station.
