Can't do club management

For some reason, it it's never available. Doesn't matter what time of day I go to the club at. It's been a while since I've played TBoGT but I'm pretty sure it was in the door with the warning that's exactly to the left when you enter the club, right? Then you go in, press E and Joni mocks your change of clothes, right? Is this something to do with complete edition being bugged or something?

Has Tony called you and asked you to help at the club more yet? It happens early on in the game but you have to wait for that for it to be available. It's also unavailable between the missions Ladies Half Price and Departure Time.

 

You go in Maisonette 9 during opening hours (9pm - 6am), and go to that room with Joni in it and you should get a prompt telling you to press a button to manage the club, which when pressed will cause Luis to change into his suit/earpiece and Joni to make a comment and you're now doing club management. Then you walk around to the places you're told to go and supervise/deal with trouble/go and visit Joni if she asks you, until at some point one of the 8 VIP missions will trigger and you go and do it. 

 

What's happening for you, do you just not get the prompt to start managing or something else?

I know about the call and I have gotten it. It's weird. When I go into the management room, there's nobody there. The prompt isn't there to begin with. I tried experimenting by starting a new game, completing the first mission, waiting for Tony's call then trying to do the side mission and yet again, I had the same problem.

I wasn't sure exactly when you're supposed to get the call but I just looked on the GTA wiki and there it says it's unlocked by Practice Swing and Chinese Takeout. If that's correct I guess you just have a couple more missions to do.
