sefus
For me, it's Palomino Highlands, honestly a better foresty area then the Chiliad state wilderness, sucks it was given the bayside treatment and was just kinda slapped in to add more area for the map, but it's a genuinely pretty peace of landscape. freakish
CynicalMexican
Mirror Park. It's a proper California suburb and something the map should have had more of. Instead we got boring ass mountains, a giant seabed barely anyone explored, a giant lagoon that isn't even in a geographically accurate position, and so much attention paid to the rich and famous areas that are already overdone anyway. Americana
Downtown Los Santos and Mirror Park - yeah, there should be more areas like Mirror Park in that game. Maybe I'd prefer this area to have less water, more houses. I like suburban areas in games. (Mountains are the worst, I really hope they won't waste 30% of the map on boring swamps in Grand Theft Auto VI - provided it'll be set in Vice City). mawerick_mc
IN general I find GTA V map really well balanced and it has a bit of everything, which is nice! My favourite part is a bit cliché but it is the Vinewood sign, specially when you fly from north over the sign and Los Santos skyscrapers start to appear. Add sunset on the right as cherry on top. Awesome. The Tracker and blacklemon173
blacklemon173
Paleto Bay and Mirror Park, for me, both of these places seem like actual towns (or parts of towns), they feel more alive than the rest of the map Edited September 3, 2021 by blacklemon173 Rotorhead359 and CynicalMexican
KatanaDV20
I love the desert Sandy Shores & Grapeseed (where the small airfield is). It actually really bummed me out when the game moved Trevor out from his trailer and into the apartment near the beach. I really resented that move. I liked the separation from the glitzy city and really liked that trailer, even got mods for it! I like the run down waste-landy feel of Sandy Shores. Its got a faint Fallout 3 vibe to it. Shacks dotted around, corner stores and such. Sometimes I just walk around there at night, maybe hang out at the airfield listening to the environmental sounds. I am not a fan of Los Santos downtown at all. Just hate being there. It looks amazing no doubt R* have done a great job but not for me.
