Is the Current GTA Online Playable On a New PS5?

I managed to score a PS5 from Sony Direct, and my console and two games (Ratchet & Clank & Miles Morales) will be here tomorrow. Can I play the current GTAV/GTAO on the PS5? Or do I need to wait for E&E?

Yes I’m playing gta online on ps5  

 

gta online on ps5 is super smooth. You won’t experience any lag or dropping fps with 30 players

Hey, maybe you can answer another question. I Googled it, but the answers seem ambiguous. I do mostly AFK/Solo currently. But it seems like you may be able to be on the same main account simultaneously with the same PSN name if you play on the PS4 and PS5. Meaning, since the PS5 is so new and so hard to get, I wouldn't want to chance burning out the console going AFK solo on my PS5. So I was thinking of using the PS4 to do all my AFK/Solo stuff while playing new PS5 games on the PS5 in another room. lol But will logging in with my main PSN name/account (ChiroVette) on the PS5 to play R&C or Miles Morales then boot me out of the GTAO lobby if I am using the same main account?

You cannot login to both console at the same time.  You will be automatically signed out on the ps4. 

you can create Secondary account on ps5 for playing games

yep that could work . don’t sign in on ps5 while your main account is online on ps4.

yes is playable, i have been playing on ps5 since december, you may download or install the game and play normally, as long as you use the same psn account you wont lose any progress.

 

you cant play gta on both consoles at the same time using the same account tho.

One of the best Things are the loading Times on PS5. Its so superfast related to the Standard PS4....not only the Lobby loading, even when Entering buildings etc. Big QoL Upgrade!

yep, 40 some seconds of loading is really good, but lets not forget we are playing a ps4 game on a more powerful console, we shall see if this loading times remain the same, improve or get worse once we get the enhanced version.

yeah, i saw them mention increasing the speed of some vehicles which gives me hopes the enhanced version will run fine.
