Guest
Just like in title, how you would imagine it? I would like to see refreshed models and animations. I wouldn't mind if it would be on Unreal Engine 5 but i think RAGE engine is much, much better, and GTA V-style San Andreas would be good, especially with mechanics like hiding behind a cover, calling anyone on the phone. I would also like to see some deleted missions that didn't make it to the final game, and also some new ones / side quests.
Ppog
I would love to see better graphics/physics/animations but I hope it doesn't ruin the sanandreas vibe.

LOL.....why on earth would you need a PC remaster when you can simply just mod the game to look and feel 20 times better than the original look ? There are thousands of mods available to achieve all you are asking for. Edited August 30, 2021 by Official General
j7n
I would just like to see a version with all the technical fixes available on forums and texture resolution maximization & mip assembled into one package, without any additional, subjective visual effects, boosted saturation & contrast, or simulation of a TV screen. That stuff could be opt-in in the settings. And the limits for visibility distance, loading from disk should be raised (like in MixSets). The term "remastering" is being applied quite differently to games than for film and audio works, where the overall feel of the original doesn't change. The resolution gets maximized without inventing new details, and the product placed into a modern package. I doubt it's possible to transfer the game faithfully to another engine. Many people were unhappy with how Half-Life was ported, and the result was very similar. But I'd gladly accept minor differences of a new engine if the game lost its "consoleness", such as awkward keyboard mappings and duplicated resourcs for linear loading from optical disc, and the transparency/alpha errors. I think a repack / remaster has a place for people who just want to experience the game without delving into technical details about file formats, graphics and code. Once I go that route, I lose some enjoyment, suspension of disbelief. Crystalien
