MANITDARK
I just watched, all of the 6 hour, walkthrough of Grand Theft Auto 1, all the missions. And I must say, the writing is excelent. I pause the game and read all the dialoges, try to get the storyline. And its great !!! Characters like Bubby, Sonetti Vercotti,Angel's bikers, Unkle Fu, El Burro, Samuel Daviery, Brother Marcus. They great !!! Missions, they been given so much, detail in to them. It really felt like, as any other GTA game to my suprise, like Gta San Andreas or GTA III. You take this missions and talk with this characters, all the time and so open's up the storyline. The Artwork,The Design, The "American Psycho" level kind of writing. Very Good. Let's talk about GTA 2 Movie. It set in 1999, if you watch it, not in a future. GTA 2 set in a future. It dosen't make sence, but if you watch at GTA 3 beta, it have a lot of GTA 2. So GTA 2 Movie is basicaly GTA 3 Beta we always wanted. Now about GTA 3. GTA 1, have the most gruesome way of murders, missions, storyline. Its like, got hit with something heavy in the head. Darkel was just, that kind of character and was cut. And because of that, gta III is, what we know of it today. Spoiler I think that GTA 1 is like GTA 1, GTA 2 and GTA 3. What fans expect, from GTA 2 and GTA 3. GTA 2 for fans is like in GTA 1 style, GTA2 and 3,III. And GTA III also is like GTA 1,GTA 2 and GTA 3,III. Each game like three games. Americana
To be honest, yes. Grand Theft Auto III really was a continuation of 2D Era Grand Theft Auto games. Many people forgot about these games, even Rockstar didn't bother with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, but this game feels like a proper successor to these amazing 2D games.
