GTA IV shadows PC version 1.0.4.0 vs Consoles

Hello, GTA IV PC version 1.0.4.0 contains lower quality shadows comparing with more current versions. Is the shadows quality in the version 1.0.4.0 the same as the shadows quality in the console version of the game or are worse?

I didn't find answers on the internet so I did some tests here. I only have one console, which is the Xbox 360. I don't have a capture card so I had to take the game screenshot with my cell phone camera. To make the comparison fair I also took the screenshot of the game in version 1.0.4.0 and 1.0.8.0 running on my PC with my cell phone. The graphic settings of the PC versions I kept the defaults for each version and the resolution I used on both was 1360x768. Here are the comparison images:

At least on the PC versions I'm able to take real screenshots so here they are for comparison between the two versions:

The shadows from the PC version 1.0.4.0 is more similar to the shadow from the Xbox 360 version, but they still have differences. I tried tinkering with the graphics settings of both PC versions and couldn't even get close to the similar result as it is on the Xbox 360 version. Look at these comparison screenshots:

Shadows drop fps on any version. I guess you just have to find the shadows setting/fps combo that you are comfortable with and forget about them.
