Hi folks,

So I got back into GTA Online recently after discovering the Cayo Perico Heist, which is basically a Godsend as far as I'm concerned because it allows me to earn decent money at a relaxed pace and in a way that doesn't feel like the horrible grinding that made me quit in the first place (crates, biker business, import/export etc).

I've got the Kosatka and Sparrow (both with missiles) and for now have shut down my Coke and Bunker operations. My import/export garage is full but just sitting there dormant.

Anyhow, I'm playing the Cayo heist to keep the cash coming in and I'm sort of operating a policy of alternating per heist take between buying something fun that I want (like adding to my car collection) and buying something useful (like buying the Sparrow, for example) that will help me with setup missions.

I'm looking for advice in terms of what I should buy next on the "useful" list.

I mostly play Cayo solo in invite-only lobbies so I was considering the Auto Shop as I understand that content works solo and on Invite Only lobbies as well?

Apart from that I've had my eye on a Weaponized Tampa for a while cos of the driver-controlled minigun but I heard it has crap armour? Any other vehicles more useful? Of course if I went that route I would need the MoC, but that is something I'm considering anyway for general weapon upgrades.

I am not sure whether to bother with Nightclub, Facility, Arcade etc? I want to avoid the grindy stuff that needs to use public lobby and I can't be bothered with the solo public lobby glitching any more - but willing to listen to arguments for other reasons as to why I should get particular business buildings anyway.

I'm so bored of businesses, I don't do 'em at all, except the odd nightclub sale.

I would say it's worth popping into a solo public for one last job at least though, to set up the arcade (as that easy prep is public only - But beyond that, everything else related is invite only friendly).

Once the arcade is set up, if you fill it with machines, which can be all the same machine in each spot to maximize revenue until you can afford the various others to fill it with more variety, it'll make $5k per game day (48 minutes). It might not seem much but many times I'll forget about it and get a message my safe is full and it's always nice to go pick up an easy $50k for nothing (the $50k being the most the safe can hold).

But beyond that, you can just goof off with the arcade games which some are fun. Plus you can access the casino heist. Granted that heist is 2 players minimum, but finding one other isn't too hard compared to the original heists needing 4 players. It's a fun and flexible heist I really enjoy long after money was needed.

Otherwise, I'd just buy things for fun IMHO. That's the point if the game after all and the Cayo Perico heist is a solo players money printer, enjoy it. Against most NPC's pretty much any car (like the weaponized Tampa) is useful. The occasional job where they use explosive ammo (IIRC one bunker resupply job and one Cayo Perico prep has a Valkyrie to be cautious of, otherwise, it's a beast on missions really).

If you don't mind going solo public once in a while later though, it could pay to set a nightclub up fully so it can just make background money. I have mine filling up and let it rot until I can be bothered to sell it. Often get an easy million here and there from that.

The Facility gives storage for 7 vehicles of choice (and saves 4 extra spots for specific vehicles), always handy if space becomes an issue one day, lol. Plus you can access another heist story, but it is tough to start with and the preps need a public lobby, but it is 2 player friendly so could be an option later if you make a buddy and fancy something new. I'd get a facility if it goes on sale and your feeling flush, just in case.

The Auto Shop is worth it, it allows 10 more storage spots, plus offers a few easy money making solo friendly opportunities. There'll be new mini heist like contracts, NPC's often want us to tune and deliver cars for them for s few bucks and super casual, and a list of cars that can be found around the map appears after you've completed your first contract. Personally I love this property for the little bits it adds to mix up my activities.

Hope it helps. Any questions, just ask away. Enjoy! :)

If you have the cash to blow then buy the Future Shock ZR380, the Future Shock version has bulletproof armour on the front and back when fully modded along with powerful mounted guns, mines, jump and turboboost abilities. Plus it's a very fast Sports car that can be fitted with a ram. When I say bulletproof I mean bullets cannot hurt you at all from the front and back.

Move your Bunker as close to the city as you can and keep it running, keep your Biker Businesses running to feed your Nightclub, they can be empty of stock and supplies, and they will still feed your Nightclub. Bunker close to the city makes big Bunker deliveries easy and the Nightclub is just passive money.

The Auto Shop contracts are fun Solo "Mini Heists" that can be finished in about a half hour.

Ah yes I had been wondering about the ZR380, do I need to have an Arena Wars workshop to buy/mod it?

Ok thanks, +1 for Nightclub and Auto shop. I have the Zancudo bunker which is pretty close to town.

Thanks for this! I do have a buddy for 2- player content but it's a bit sporadic as sometimes he's up for GTA for like a week and then gets into something else for a bit so I have to manage solo where I can 😊.

Auto shop does sound up my street from what you've said, more like how the import/export should have been, another +1 for that plus Nightclub, Arcade, Facility.

Sounds like I may go for MoC and Tampa after all!

No need to bother with the Nightclub or Arcade unless you're interested in owning a Terrorbyte with an Oppressor mk2, or playing the Casino heist.

At this point I wouldn't get a nightclub for the easy sales money, plus it requires you to have your MC business and bunker active (can be empty but not shutdown)

Doomsday facility, no need either unless you want to play the Doomsday heist or own the Avenger.

If you already have a bunker, buy the Mobile Operation Center instead, and add the weapon+vehicle workshop to it.

Since you already have the Kosatka and Sparrow, you might want to add a Toreador to your car collection and store it in your Kosatka, other than that just buy what you want.

Thanks. I am interested in Casino heist but not a high priority right now. Terrorbyte does interest me for getting drones and stuff though. Toreador does look cool.

Unfortunately, yes. It is extra garage space so at least it's a bonus. On the flip side, you can buy the Armoured Kuruma and use the AP pistol to get complete bulletproof-ness and 360 weapon fire. The normal Kuruma has a glitch at the moment that will be fixed so it's not worth relying on that like people will tell you.

Yea, the Nightclub and a Bunker close to the city are basically free money that accumulates as you play. You can run a few Cayo Pericos and by the end you will have another cool million plus sat in stock.

My 2 cents:

Play more 'new' stuff besides Cayo Perico, that sh*t is so easy its actually boring af and if that's all you're gonna do you're gonna be bored again ~2 weeks from now.

I'd say get the nightclub just for the passive end .....very easy money ....(once you've dumped some money in if course ) don't bother with popularity/ wall safe grind at all.  So keep your mc businesses open but don't run them . Keep the bunker open too as these and crates fuel your passive nightclub business.

The auto shop is worth it . Since your in invite alot,  you can mod and deliver customers cars for some decent vip job level money/time ratio .  You will also open up contracts that can be fun and pay decent money. Plus you will open up the export list where if you find a blue dot on the map you deliver the car to the docks for 20k . (40k this week)

And to top it off you get 5% discount on all vehicle mods .

Free crew color and crew color tire smoke .

Depending on your money level you can skip the facility, casino penthouse and arcade . (Although I like the arcade for nostalgia sake ) .

Welcome back and enjoy the far less grindy gtao

Nice! I need to look into the arcade. I only have Cash Factory and it was feeling like a 2nd job to me. I didn't like that I had to constantly check to see if the product was under1 1/2 bards, or it would spawn 2 vehicles when I sell. You can do 2 vehicles at sell time-but not relaxed. Now I just steal supplies once (I usually don't mind that-I like killing the NPCs with my Kuruma) and don't worry about the Sell. I won't get raided and it won't go over 1 bar of Product so I sell when I sell. Relaxed.

one Cayo Perico prep has a Valkyrie to be cautious of

I jut watched a video where the Player used the Missiles on the sub to take out the Valkyrie-when I have the cash I'll upgrade.

Buy the Nightclub, it is worth even if you don't want to maintain the popularity of it:

-Best passive money maker in the game, just make your technicians acquire the goods from your other business, you don't have to do anything on besides selling them when you want to.

-You can add 30 storage spaces for personal vehicles, which you will want to have once you start to buy more and more vehicles.

-God mode Speedo(if you swing it that way, I don't).

-Ability to buy a Terrobyte so you can add homing missiles to a Opressor Mk2 that you own(again, if you swing it that way).

GAUNTLET HELLFIRE

Gauntlet Hellfire. Cheap at under a million, best looking car in GTA imo, really fun to drive and it has a lot of customization. I own around 20 all done up differently.

I would buy a normal Kuruma becuse at the moment it is bullet proof and can throw explosives out of it. Sure it will get patched but it is only 100k and it is a decent car to have even when it isn't bullet proof. I have owned one for years and use to love using it in the snow until the Sultan Classic came out.

Arcade. 10 car garage and access to the casino heist. The casino heist is my favourite heist in the game but it does suck that you need a second player. If you were to do all or most of the different approaches you would have some fun and fully pay of the Arcade while doing it.

Autoshop. Free classic paints, all parts are unlocked even if you aren't the right level or haven't unlocked them like paints that need stunt jumps, race wins etc. The contracts are pretty fun and quite easy and the pay isn't bad especially with the bonus 75k for first time completion. There is also a list of cars you can find around the map and take to the docks everyday and customers cars that you customize and return to them. I know a lot of people complain about the pay especially now with Cayo paying 1.5 million an hour but honestly I don't think the pay is bad with finding a car and taking it to the docks for 20k or taking a car from your autoshop to a customer for 25k - 35k. VIP jobs pay the same but are harder and can even take longer to do.

Scramjet. Just a lot of fun to mess around with. It is very expensive but when you have everything else you want and some spare cash it's worth it.

In 2 weeks I think the drip feed for Tuners should be done I would check Broughy1322 on Youtube to find the fastest tuner car and buy that. The street races and pursuit races are locked to tuners so it is good to have one fully upgraded just in case you do some of them. You can only use the new tuner cars on the contracts as well but at the moment you can walk into any normal garage and get any car you want to of there to use.

The pay for the nightclub isn't bad but one Cayo heist would pay the same and you have to wait along time before you can sell you product and you need to be in a public session.

Arena workshop. You can store something like 26 cars in there and you can customize everything in there except the Oppressor MK2. The arena has also been required for most of the merge glitches over the years if you ever want to do one of them. I don't think there is any merges at the moment but when there is and you own an arena you can merge a Bennys car to put Bennys wheels on any car.

My biggest advice would be to bank some money. I would choose an amount like 20 or 30 million and never go under that. If you have 20 million in the bank and see something that you want on sale but don't have time to play you can still buy it cheaply and just make the extra money up again but if you have nothing in the bank and can't play you will either have to wait a long time for another sale or pay full price. With some saving you will always have a decent amount for any DLC and you can just grind later to buyt whatever else you want and to make up that money again. If R* didn't announce Tuners, you missed the announcement or you couldn't play before it came out you would need to grind for hours before enjoying it but with some banked cash you can enjoy it now and grind that money back later.

If it isn't something you are desperate for try and wait for a sale. I retired my female character and traded in all her expensive properites for cheap ones but I decided a couple of weeks ago to start using that character a bit more. I have 300 million in the bank and own everything I want with only 2 more new cars coming but I still wait for sales to get better property location for my female. I got the Maze Bank office when it was 50% off and I'll get the Chumash bunker tomorrow and a better nightclub location when they go on sale too.

Also NEVER buy anything at full price on a Wednesday or Tuesday or maybe even Monday. It would really suck to have bought the bunker yesterday when you could have waited a day and save a million on it.

I'm looking for advice in terms of what I should buy next on the "useful" list.

If you ingress the CP Island via Boat, then buy a Phantom Wedge. It's a special vehicle so you can spawn it via menu and use it in the setup. It also adds Plowed WIP work which is fun and pays 35k.

Here's my argument for why you should get the Nightclub. If you own the 5 best businesses (Coke, Meth, Counterfeiting, Bunker, and a Hangar) you only have to deal with public sessions and a quick 10-15 minute sale once every 20 hours of play time for a sale profit of around $800k. Active businesses will feed the Nightclub and you don't have to ever deal with them directly. Personally, I swapped my Bunker for Weed because I don't want to get hit with the $9,400 daily fee from having the bunker open, that dropped my sale to around $500k. You also don't need to monitor the Nightclub that closely, with no popularity, just wait until you see the safe total is around $2,800 and you know it's time to do the sale.

Facility is only for the Doomsday Heist and the Arcade is mostly for the Casino Heist. Unless you have a friend to play with, you can skip them. Perk of the Facility is that you can store a couple unique vehicles there (RCV and the Thruster jetpack) and you can use the Lester teleport trick to go to the Facility. As others said, the Arcade full of machines can earn $5,000 per day, but I don't think it's worth doing it just for that extra cash because it would take a long time to make back your initial investment. But, it is fun to play some of those arcade games.

If you can tune out annoying characters who talk too much, then I would recommend getting the Auto Shop. The mini heists there pay a solo player pretty well and you can do them in invite only. Each takes around a half hour to complete the 2 preps and the heist and you'll make around $180k. This puts it on par with the old best solo grinding methods, such as the CEO crate warehouses. I think they are a lot of fun and have done a lot of them.

Hey man, I just came back to GTAO recently as well and had just about the same questions on what to even do and buy.

I would say get the auto shop next, since it adds a few new missions that are pretty decent and can be done solo. When I need money, I just switch between Cayo heist and Auto shop heist. All can be done solo and there are plenty of tips out to show you how to complete the missions with minimum fuss as a solo. For me it's the new money making strategy. Also, the auto shop makes some decent passive money and opens up the exotic car list (although thats been a little buggy so far).

With all your newfound wealth though, what to buy next? I would say the Toreador since you can store it in the sub and it lets you hunt for treasures and is a nice secondary option to have with the Sparrow. You can go by air or by water in one vehicle, which is super nice and easy. It's pretty pricey though, like 3.5 mil I think.

Otherwise, you can buy a tuner to take part in the LS Car Meet races. I bought a Calico and used it to get the GTT for free after completing the race challenge yesterday. The GTT is worth over a million, so it was a pretty sweet deal.  I would have bought it anyway because I love Mustangs so I always buy up the new Dominators, so I'm pretty happy about winning it by actually playing the game. If anything, you can unlock some new stuff with the Car Meet rankings and races are not even that bad. Short tracks keep things moving.

I also sold off many "assets" that I had lying around and never used. The b-10 Jet, Akula, and Hunter got sold yesterday. Wish I never bought them in the first place.

Like some people stated in previous posts, bank your money and wait for a sale and make sure you really want something. I totally regret buying all these expensive vehicles but at least I got something back for them. I only have the hydra and deluxo now since I still use those, but I'm pretty much 90% in the sparrow now lol. Wasted a lot of money on crap I barely touch and then got pissed when it went on sale right after I bought it. Also, I'll never buy that stoopid flying crotch rocket out of principal, but it is a pretty useful tool from what I hear. Mostly for greifing, LOL.

Thanks for the replies everyone, loads of useful info here. Have a pretty good idea what I'm going for now, sounds like Auto Shop and NIghtclub are making the list and I'm pretty well decided the MoC is happening too.
