Gta Wiki says he’s an american but no confirmation or anything, is there? So I’m thinking since Salvatore makes that promise, Claude has to be an Italian? Some have said that his appearance appears a bit Asian or Native American. He may or may not be of Latin American origin; Latin America is a big place with people of many different races/ethnicities. Like much of his background, I think his ethnicity was left to interpretation to the player. The made man thing is definitely indicative that he may be Italian, who knows. Exactly, the Sicilian mafia doesn't make just about any freelancer hitman into one of their made men unless they're of Italian descendant (and probably vow to always stick with them too). Yeah, but except it wasn't about race, it was about loyalty. Sal didn't trust JD. I've seen Americans, Brits and Canadians with the name Claude. Funny enough in Mexico, English language first names are a thing, though only since the 1990s.
