Ifruit crashes

Hey how are you guys customizing your plates? 

 

I have a note 9 and my app crashes when I load up LSC. 

 

So I'm wondering if there is a way to fix this or another way to name your plate?

I had the same problem and what I did was filled one of my regular garages with 9 free Elegy and a Faggio and drove them all out of my garage and around the street for a few seconds and after that it worked fine for me. I saw that solution on Youtube. People are saying it could be because of the tuner cars or modded cars. I don't know if 10 Elegys would work but the video said 9 Elegys and a different 10th car so I just did that.

For me the app worked on Android 11 but yesterday my phone got updated to a new Android 11 build an the IFruit app wasn't working anymore. I have tried the possible solution regarding tuner cars too but it didn't worked out. I figured i could try to install the app on my Tablet with Android 8.X. On my tablet the app works like a charm.

 

Are you able to login or does the app crash while you see the IFruit logo and loading circle?

Let me explain here what's happening.

 

There was a bug in the end of 2020 where Rockstar messed up with the secondary character slot on Pc, the result was that temporarily we lost access to a lot of properties, and then latter when they "fixed" the problem, all the cars in the garages where "out of place".

 

What I noticed is that my cars where in the ORDER where I bought them, from the oldest to the newest arranged linearly in my properties from the oldest to the newest.

 

My guess is that the game stores your cars in a file or in a database block or whatever (I am no programmer) and in a separate file or data block is your car arrangement data.

 

My guess with iFruit; and that I can confirm at least in my accounts case, is that the app "can't see" past "insert update" maximum vehicle storage space.

 

So if you are a guy with a few cars iFruit works fine for you, if you have a big collection you might have some hiccups here and there, but if you have a huge collection and probably most of the cars you are trying modify are brand new in the last save spots, iFruit is broken for you, since most of your cars are unknown and in unknown positions. But off course this is all speculation and you would have to check with the real tech gurus like Fun2 and others.

 

Another thing that supports this ideas is that if you sell and old car, and buy a new one, the new one will appear normally in iFruit, and if all your "recent driven cars" are from old parking slots, the app will not crash.

 

So in resume, it's a matter of Rockstar fixing iFruit rather than a problem on anyone's end.

To make things even worse, I have a plate that is falsely dupe detected (we don't even get working dupe glitches on the pc in first place), this plate is legit on my iFruit but it was made with Charles Proxy back in 2015.

Since the characters are $$$$$$$$, the game can't render them making the plate blank. Because the plate is detected as "dirty",  I can't sell cars with the plate, and I can only apply the plate though iFruit (that does not work) or though merging (that is a lot of work just to change a plate).

 

Is a really bad idea that Rockstar decided to use plates for security, fun fact, if you make a custom plate, apply it on two cars, and delete the plate from iFruit, boom your two cars are "dupe detected".

able to log in but as soon i try to go to lsc loading screen then crash

I have the same bug I can log into the Ifruit app but when i click on los customs it just quits off the app , this happens on my laptop and phone i also sent a ticket last week to rockstar support this is the reply i got if it helps as i try

but the staff most be smoking as am not on pc i even said in that comments but it might help u pc guys am not sure

I already have a load of plates on my Ifruit but it would be nice to make more but i think i just wait for someone with a fix are them to fix it as i always get bot reply!

I had the same issue with my android phone, it got updated and when I tried to open the iFruit app it just crashed. What I did was open the app from an  older device (I own an Apple device that lost support a few years ago). But then again I faced the issue that I couldn't load the LS Customs, What I did was to take my older rides for a roll without having to get a lot of elegys in a garage. That way, the app shows the last seven (I remember it was 10 slots but whatever) cars I used, Including the Dominator GTT that appears in the app  just fine for some reason. That way I could make two new plates with no problems.

Sounds like the app itself is working as long as it doesn't need to load data it can not handle at this point.

 

I think calling in older personal vehicles till you have "used" ten of them to get the not working car out of the data list would be worth to test. Maybe you can use LSC with the app again. I would give it a shot. Doesn't take much time. Just go to a agarage with mostly older cars, drive in and out and/or call some in till 10 are "used". Restart the app and see if it worked out.

Tried it. No dice and I dont have a phone from 2013 to test it lol

You can also view which cars are in your iFruit 'queue' on the SC website, GTAO > Garage.

iFruit being kinda unmaintained is one of the reasons I bet we'll be able to do most of the things iFruit allows us to do, in-game, in E&E. It just makes sense its functionality should be integrated into the game IMO. It was more novel in 2013 than nowadays.

I think it's something Samsung related because my phone on Android 11 will open iFruit fine, but my Galaxy Tab S7 on Android 11 crashes when trying to open the app.

You have to drive 10 different pre-Tuners cars out of a garage.

 

This means you can't use iFruit for the Tuners cars.

Drive 10 non-tuners cars and try again. I got mine to work by doing this. I changed outfits to save between each car too. Not sure that was necessary but it worked for me.

 

It seems that the new tuners cars are screwing up the app. Even once I got mine working again, most of the new tuner cars don't show up. It'll only show the 8 or 9 most recent non-tuners I've driven. Weirdly my Euros sometimes displays for me.

 

Edit to add: I decided to see if the trick to color the stock wheels on my Euros would work on the iFruit app. It actually did work and I colored the stock wheels. I wonder if the Euros is special or if I did something to get it to show up in my iFruit feed. It was stored in my office garage. I'll check to see if I can get any other cars to show on the app.

 

Edit 2: I've tried a few things and I can't get any other turner car to show up. Either the Euros is magical or there was some glitch that got it in and I can't replicate it with any other car.

I figured it out. 

 

I powered up my phone from 3 years ago and iFruit booted up.

 

LS Customs still crashes tho.

Rockstar support is a golly darn joke (sorry for my language).

 

I reported a Cayo bug with video and their response was to re-calibrate the game.

 

$70 game. Purchased 2x. Billions in profit. Can't be assed to read a support ticket.
