Kart Krash Full Auto... this is it?

One of the biggest things I was hyped about for this update was the possibility of actual go-kart races. They have unique handling, they're a different scale from any other vehicles, endless possibilities for new races. And then we get a go-kart game mode and... it's just more adversary mode/arena war runoff.

 

If this is the only content in this update featuring the go-karts I don't even know what to say.

Dunno, had a few rounds today and even though I was in the outnumbered team, I genuinely had fun as the only team member alive and systematically defeating multiple opponents

Played two rounds. Sadly its pretty much Rhino Hunt level boring.

Half the powerups are either useless or make no sense. I mean a speedboost on a tiny platfrom? Whats the point of that?

It's the Arena War shunt, not a speed boost. Aim yourself at someone and give it a try. It still doesn't make things any less boring really.

Might be that I havent played arena war in a long time but I remember the shunt behaving diffrent.

I misread this as Speedboat and thought there was a powerup that turns you into a speedboat and you just sit there, beached, until it wears off.

 

That would actually be funny, and therefore more entertaining than anything actually in this game mode

So, as always, don't get your hopes up, but I thought the semi-colon in the name implied future kart content. Like, there could be a "Kart Krash: Racing" or "Kart Krash: Capture the Flag", except with some kinda cheesy name. If that's the case, I'll bet new modes come out with drip feed. I'll go out on a limb and say that however many cars are left are the number of weeks left in the drip. One of those weeks will be for the last contract. The remaining weeks will each debut a different Kart Krash mode.

I've found that people are extremely bad at this game mode, lol. It's been an easy money and RP farm.
