billiejoearmstrong8 Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) Is it at all possible that you threw the money down but he didn't pick it up (because something happened to stop him or you left quickly or whatever)? You can even throw it down and then pick it up again yourself by walking over it before he gets to it. I don't actually know if it still counts when that happens or not but it's a thought. Try doing it again and make sure you see him pick the money up (he'll walk over to it and it'll disappear) and check the stats again and then you'll know for sure. Bonus fun fact: after giving a tramp money if you get in a fight nearby afterwards he'll run over and fight for you. Oh also you are talking about homeless people begging and not the buskers playing saxophone right? They're a different stat. Blanchflower Posted August 19, 2021 Author Share Posted August 19, 2021 OK, there are actually 2 stats to this. The first one, under "Money" it states, "Given to tramps". The second one, under Misc, it stats, "Tramps given money to". The problem is, I gave money to tramps by pressing "E". When I did that, $10 was deducted but I could not see any money on the floor or the tramp picking it up. Why is this so? Are these 2 stats bugged? Did anyone has any success in this? Thanks! But the tramp in which I gave money to never helped me in the fistfight. I checked the stats and it still says 0. So I guess this is a bug in the Steam version of the game. billiejoearmstrong8 Posted August 20, 2021 Share Posted August 20, 2021 Yeah the fighting for you thing (which apparently doesn't always work anyway - maybe it's because it was another tramp?) is the only benefit you get from it so it's no huge loss. Any idea on how to correct this bug with mods on the PC? It's actually bugging me that I have stats which show 0; except for the other negative stats on how many times you died or got arrested. Reason being, I wanted to finish the game with "perfect" stats. Where there is at least a 1 value in every stat except for the negative ones.
