Military Rifle

Hey Everyone. I tried to search for a Weapon Guide, but I got a lot of useless results. I'm just curious how the Military Rifle compares to other in game guns. Is it worth carrying, or is it just a novelty?

It's a good rifle, but it's weaker than MK2 weapons, and only holds 45 rounds in the magazine. So it's better than standard weaponry but not better than MK2 weapons. For ppl that don't wanna go through bunker unlock hell, it's a good choice i guess.

 

My weapon of choice is still the Bullpup MK2, the fast fire rate is great, the accuracy is okay, and it does more dmg than standard weapons.

 

I just sometimes use the Military Rifle for fun.

Military rifle was interesting when update came out as new weapon, obviously partially based on aug so color green looked great with it. As for performance, it kinda kicks after first 2 burst shots, still during CP heist grind i racked more than 3k kills with it. Can't topple mk2 weapons, especially my favorite special carbine mk2, that thing is laser precise for lining headshots.

This probably doesn't add the the convo,but it is a great gun in real life. It is based on the AUG A3 by Steyr. I like it.

I found that Military rifle has too much of recoil, making it hard to shoot precise. But it's cool and I use it in situation when I don't need a lot of firepower or precision. I mostly shot single shots or very short bursts from it. So in my opinion it worth to buy as a fun gun if you have extra money you don't know how to spend.  In practical terms special carabine or any MK2 rifle shoots better.
