will my MC business still produce if I am broke?

I have tried searching for this answer on here and everywhere and can't find a straight answer and confirmation. So if I want to avoid paying daily fees, will my bunker and MC businesses still produce product if my character is unable to pay them? Is there any way to AFK bunker and MC businesses without having to pay daily fees on ps4? sorry if the question is in the wrong place.

Rockstar have thought of this and the answer is no.

If your character is broke and fails to pay their daily charges, your staff will stop working. Mechanic will ignore you, lights go out, etc.

The only way to avoid that, is to switch sessions every 40-45 minutes before you get charged.

Not only that, but once you have failed to pay your daily charges once, your staff will remain idle until you pay them after the next ingame day. Switching sessions won't help you after that point.

So that means a full day of no production, until you pay them, and only then will they start producing again.

To avoid too high costs, just don't become a MC pres so often. everytime you become MC pres, you really have to pay the daily bills the businesses produce. If you never become MC pres, and for example only keep the businesses running so your nightclub can accrue product, you pay much less. Well that's how i do it, i never have to pay any MC businesses bills anymore, as long as i never become MC pres.

 

But if you really use the businesses, then you really have to pay the bills. It makes more sense just doing CEO work, while the nightclub accrues product, the MC business on it's own don't create enough income to be worth it.

So if I want to at least minimize the daily fees as much as I can, should I simply avoid becoming an MC president during the time I am becoming AFK for unless it's when I have to buy supplies or make a sale???

Yep exactly, try to avoid becoming MC pres as often as possible.

Thanks. Yeah that makes sense. If I did the math right when the daily fees came up briefly, I was only paying like 5-6k for the daily fees earlier while working for other players. I guess taking a hit for 60-80k during my work shift to be able to get product while being AFK isn't so bad. ill have to see how it works out. thx again

Yeah it's a huge difference, if you are an active MC pres, you pay 29950 GTA$ just for the daily costs of the MC businesses if you own them all completly upgraded and their all active, not being an active MC pres reduces that to only your other daily fees.

 

This here should help a bit. It's a bit outdated, the TV AFK method isn't working anymore for example.

Because R* gradually patched things related to access to office(where you could watch TV+ask a Pegasus aircraft from concierge, this is patched) while in contact missions and it seems since recently I get autokicked when watching TV in contact missions from my appartment. 

 

That guy took the time to suggest something you could be more grateful. 

 

Edit: I'm re-testing now for PC, you could also search from google the answer, your thread itself is a waste, we get the same crap questions over and over about afking, MC businesses since like 2016. 

 

Edit2: [PC] I get autokicked when watching TV in contact mission. Probably try rubberbanding your controller if you're console player.

I'm trying to figure out how you can own a bunker and be broke. It's the easiest and fastest way to make money outside of Cayo Perico.

He mentions in the OP he's trying to avoid paying the daily fees. He probably isn't broke but hides his money on his second character.

No... f*ck YOU. I posted this question to gain insight from experienced GTA members. I asked what what tactics will work right now, not what might have used to worked in the past. Nothing lazy about AFK gameplay as long as it doesn't interfere with other players online missions. And also I am not broke as someone else suggested. And third of all, the whole point of asking a question on a forum IS to hope for a legitimate and intelligent answer ASAP from the collective knowledge of the users. Obviously I didn't get it from you. I got the answers I needed from everyone except from you. Thanks.

you are probably as broke someone else suggest or else why will you worry about paying $70-80k in daily fees, thats chump change...unless you are broke.

 

also people like you with your sh*t attitude are the reason why a lot of users choose to post troll answers when someone make this kind of threads.
