Is it safe to go to public with out getting accused?

So two years ago I remember people were getting falsely accused for cheating because they were 1k +. Is it safe for us high ranks now to roam around ? I just want to go lsc meet and see different cars.

Unless it's different on xbox or pc it's pretty much a ghost town there on ps4 or it is every time I go there.

Who really cares what other players say? Accuse me of cheating all you want because you can check my stats that prove otherwise. Not sure what is unsafe about some clueless idiot calling me a cheater?

 

Aside from that the car meet will be a complete ghost town. May see a player or two walking in circles but I believe that even that has stopped. The meet is a giant failure and isn’t even needed if one only plays with friends. Why spend 50k to hang with friends in a dimly lit building?

 

Public version is just a poorly lit building filled with sh*tty NPC cars and annoying NPCs horny for constantly revving their terrible sounding engines. Burble burble stance stance mothaf*cka.

No. People are still doing meets in the open world and start moaning/complaining after announcing it in the chat and some griefer and/or tryhard blew them all up because of: "It's fun for me!". In GTA Online the social aspect in public sessions is still abysmal and pretty much dead.

Level 1000-1500 or something is pretty realistic nowadays, i don't see why ppl would accuse ppl of being a cheater now after the game is so old already.

 

Level 2000+ is where i start thinking, hmm that really might not be legit anymore. But most probably there are some legit 2000+ ppl out there. But damn that must been grindy reaching that level.

 

Im just Rank 842, it feels like it takes ages to level up now. Im happy if i reach 1000, before GTA VI is released.

If you're a high rank over 1,000 (I am 1,240-odd now) you get treated like Jesus. Players are initially suspicious of you, then they follow you and beg you for stuff, expecting you to work miracles before eventually deciding that you should be put to death. Rising again to smite them with magical powers (explosive sniper bullets) just leads to them accusing you of being some kind of cheat and collectively ejecting you from the game.

Worst I get (at level 550-ish curently) is being kicked from race or mission lobbies.

 

No chatter or messages on XBone in general though, maybe because in order to do that the player base has to be able to read and write

I get kicked from races on a daily basis, as it is my most frequent activity. I can sort of understand that, but why kick an experienced player from co-op missions, when they are obviously a ticket to success and money? I'll never understand this player base.

Step one, have your stats public

 

Step two, have a script that say something like: "bla bla player since day one my stats are public go check for yourself"

 

Step three, If they keep insisting and being annoying break their teeth, from there they will either say that you are actively cheating or beg for mercy or leave.

 

Joining any competitive mode like racing and adversary modes = insta kick.

In heists people just sit on the back waiting for you do to everything yourself.

You'll probably always be accused of cheating at high ranks, and more so, kicked from near anything when on call.

 

But IMO, most all of those that enjoy the car meet place long left public lobbies and go invite/crew only. Hard to find a real group on public at the meet place, but the players exist. Just won't ever see 'em unless you join a like-minded bunch.

Just ignore these silly false accusations. So what that some people think you cheated?! They don't know you. Only you know what you've done which means that as long as you haven't cheated there's nothing to worry about. Besides these false accusations doesn't say anything about you but it does say a lot about the people who throw such accusations left and right.

PS4 rank 1036 here, I don't get accused of being a hacker at all because well, no such a thing on PS4...For now.

 

I do get kicked out of jobs if I'm winning too much(I take those as a compliment), and some noobs keeps asking me for money but i just mute them if they get noisy.

You also become a target to certain players, specifically tryhards and griefers. High rank = must be a K/D-obsessed no life.

My experiences are the opposite with griefing. They pretty much ignore me. Funny because I suck at PvP even though my KD would give the opposite impression. 
 

Usually if a player does bother me it is someone on an MK2. I just hop out of my car and equip the Combat MG2. After they take a couple rounds they blast away and never return.

Legit players are easy to spot, but some ignorant people think anyone with high level is a cheater.

The accusations are still happening, especially on PC.

The car meet in public was pretty much dead on the first day. The highest amount of people I have seen in there was 4 (including me). 2 walking in circles, one on the testrack and me in the shop.

The idiotic unlocksystem killed it imidiatly.

I actually did see your post a little while ago, and now I don't see it anymore. Strange.

 

OT: Funnily enough, just today, I got called a modder by a Faze fanboy because of my rank. He then proceeded to claim that I was 6 years old, so there was no possible way for me to have been playing since 2013. He then tried to kill me with a jet, but I ended up taking him out with EB.

 

He then rage quit. Strange fellow.

I got a 9k bounty randomly from an IGN F*cknut for being a "Hacker" for being 900+ (I'm a day one 360 player, on Xbox One currently. One of the few that missed out on the "Billionaire Days".)

For context.....the guy was spamming Passive/OTR/Ghost Org. and kept losing dogfights (Turn fights really) to me in a Rogue. He even failed each combat merge attempt, and even stole a Lazer at one point and still lost. Got called a Modder for knowing my planes strengths better than him.

So the irony of the name not withstanding. Guy had a 9k Bounty, started to EWO Loop across all of the desert, finally managed to get a good angle with the main gun as he spawned and killed him (Blew his sticky bomb up I think). Somehow this = "YoUr HaCkInG"


Long story short. Rebreather F****ts will always accuse you of that which they are more often than not guilty of. So being accused of "ChEaTiNg" is not uncommon among these type of players because "Muh K/D"

I prefere to play on my secondary account, my lvl is much lower there, I still get kicked h24 there too anyway(I think its kd this time, or just because whynot). Its funny. Worst is those idiots who votekick would get burnt out to play VIP jobs or contact missions for 2 hours with me. They dont know how much a Hell of grind it is to get 1000 lvl with Headhunter, Chop Chop, Time to get Away and those jobs that give miserable 2-5k RP. 

 

I must say I'm not going to try car meets ever, I dont care about other ppl cars, I dont know, it doesn't interest me  Its ok to watch screenshots on GTAF, but thats all for me. No IG meeting, I would feel super embarassed.

You should be fine. I’m 1016 and I never get bothered about it unlike when I was 430 and 700 rank. I got reported left and right back then.

Literally in the past week I saw 2 level 8000 accounts and a player with a 35789376.7 KD ratio.

 

If R* cared at all about BS levels or stats you'd think the obvious ones would be taken out first. News flash, they don't.

 

So what if someone whines about you're high level? Tell them to report you and see where that gets them. Reports for glitches and cheating do nothing, ignore the whiners and play the game.

Getting reported only flags you for inspection, and even then need many reports in short time.
