On PC, it is no longer an option. Players who unlocked this tattoo before Arena Wars update still own it in tattoo shop. I believe Rockstar wanted to fix the same problem on consoles but wound up ruining it for PC. It usually goes this way with Rockstar.

I disagree. Those kind of glitches just ruin the rarity of items for legit collectors. That and the tuner rep glitch were bad for the game.

as a collector myself i get your point but for me it was great because i got access to items im sure R* had no plans of releasing, for example i got quite a few "brand" shirts that been in the game files at the time for 3-4 years and still unreleased to this day.

 

i think collectibles are a kinda "niche" in gtao, you can wear a super rare shirt and no one will notice it, unless you are seen by another collector.

I agree with you and this was one of the many reasons why I skipped this glitch, in the other hand I believe in moral flexibility, and while I think that cheating to get a Go Go Monkey Blista defeats the purpose of getting it, and when I mean, I talk about all forms of cheating (from getting it with farmed wins to glitching one inside your garage), that is up to you, in the other hand I am completely fine with you glitching in a Lost Slamvan, because realistically nobody can have the latter, so I think the Gender Swap Glitch was great for example because people like xtiffi researched tons of combinations of female to male transfers and vice versa, that basically let you build any outfit you like without any intrusive tool or unlocking anything you should not have.

There's actually a stat in the game (MPX_ALLOW_GENDER_CHANGE) that determines how many times you can change your gender. If it's set above 0 you will see an additional slider in the change appearance screen to choose your gender. No idea why Rockstar don't just allow it all the time, or give players one gender change per year at least.

because of how they have the catalogs different between them. This is why the change gender glitch was such a big deal was because it would get you a bunch of exclusive items.

Ah, so if you purchase items with IDs that correspond to locked/rare items for the other gender it can be abused? I'm sure they could fix this by having some kind of table to translate IDs when changing gender (and simply don't transfer items that only exist on the old gender) but there's no financial incentive for them to do so...

 

Anyone know about the Hazardous Jerry Can? The wiki says the tuners update removed it from anyone who still had it from before, but I still have it every time I get on.

that was the premise of the gender swap glitch, you swap buy things with shared IDs, swap back to your normal gender and enjoy the new unlocks.

 

heres the list someone made back in the day, there you can see that buying lets say a hat as male, unlocks a special shirt for your female character etc like i said before, it was simply the best non-money glitch ever.

Yes and no. Yes cause its a dev shirt no because at a time you could get it with a gender swap glitch. Asshole is more  rare and twitch shirts.

I am aware and I expected it to happen at some point. I keep tabs on a site to see how far people are getting with certain unlocks and knew it would eventually end up there as there are a couple people there that are dedicated to get everything. I've known how to get some of the really rare stuff for a long while now and find it interesting to see how others approach the same problem and how long it takes.

i made the list, and the one you linked is an (outdated) copy that someone on 7s basically stole to try to get fake clout or something considering they removed the names of everyone who helped make it

The Kifflom Tee is by passing out in the NC and waking up in the Epsilon Building. 

 

The Epsilon Robes is by tipping the bathroom attendant like 577 or somewhere around

Just look for someone who seems to be on foot, killing every player within two blocks of them, having a gamertag like 34t_mY_eW0. If they don't show you the Blue Two, I'd be surprised. One of the rarest item you can own is Patriot with bull bar and spotlights (not to be confused with lightbar in mod shop). Both of these modifications spawn as bodystyles. It is highly cosmetic and the parts disappear as soon as you enter the mod shop. It is also rare because Patriot with these modifications appears only in GTA IV. Generally the Patriot spawns in traffic with bull bar and side steps or spotlights alone - not with a combination of two and it gets glitched out when you get side steps added as well because the texture conflicts with side exhausts.

 

It spawns like this in GTA IV and it can be recreated in exactly the same manner in GTA V.

Not got that either. But I noticed I got given few movie t-shirts after nagging support for my orange shades, so not sure if I'll ask them to look into things, lol.

 

They royally messed these unlocks up.

 To Unlock All  special items enter this while entering online Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A  your controller will vibrate if you did it right.

people have complained about that since the robes were released but in classic R* style they never fixed it

 

on the topic of rare items, i think the patriot smoke for tires and parachute. if not mistaken the option to equip them was removed years ago. they still obtainable through glitches. i have patriot smoke on a couple of my og cars and as my smoke trail when i parachute.
