Which items are "rare'' 2021 edition

So I'm curious what is rare in 2021.

 

I know for sure the asshole and dev shirts are. 

 

But what about the high flyer pack? Did they ever released it again?

 

And the twitch shirts. (Dont worry I got them long ago)

They did it this year, last month.

 

Limited time event, all you had to do was pick it up at Ammunation after doing a parachuting job I think.

 

Can we include vehicles with inaccessible customization options?

I have a half missing corvette does that count? Wow it took them this long to release it again? I remember that was a sought out thing like the beer hats.

I have all the beer hats. Lost slammy, two lowrider slammies without hydros in the bed and blue and white headphones around my neck. I never see anyone with the headphones except for the red ones. I used to have black ones too but they were with the cop belt and they got deleted. There are cyan color ones too. You probably could get them with  save editor now, but again no one really goes for them.

Aww, jelly. They(and belt) were the only item I lost when I was away for a few years. Wish R* would just make them purchasable already ffs.

Also female characters need the head versions too. Just realized a few weeks ago guys get the neck ones for regular on head headphones

On the topic of t-shirts i've never really seen people talk about some of the first (if not the first) event week t-shirts:

 

 

The "I'm Not a Hipster" Event Weekend was announced on the 18th of June 2014 and lasted from the 20th to the 22th and that was it, a time when 2x RP for Deathmatch Killstreaks and Headshots was something exciting.

 

Think about it, each of them were only available for 1 DAY way back in 2014 and they've never been given again after that (unless they were dropped during the early christmas special crates, not sure)

 

I remember going on holidays on the first day they were giving out the shirts, the plane was leaving at way early in the morning and i still tried to log on GTA to get the shirt to no avail (ended up emailing R* support saying i "lost" the shirt and they just gave me the shirt no questions asked)

I guess beer hats are rare but not very rare. There was a glitch in an old DLC that let a bunch of us buy them. All you had to do was go into something non-freeroam (heist, contact mission, etc.) and when you went back into freeroam they unlocked to buy at clothing stores. Also, the J-Lager Beer Hat could/can be got from the Casino Wheel along with the Butchery & Other Hobbies t-shirt. Not sure if there's other time exclusive ones in there.

 

 

Kind of similarly the Rockstar Verified shirt was unlockable too for a while from another glitch. Even easier, you just had to do kill someone with a Gusenberg Sweeper and it unlocked. So a bunch of people have it including me.

I have Bitch'n Dog Food on my (inherited) female character, one of the few things my friend got on her account. Homies I have on my male second character thanks to one of the random Christmas log-in giveaways.

Can't believe people on here missed out on the High Flyer bag, it was probably the rarest and most coveted piece of clothing in the game.

 

Rarest now is probably that white Shrewsbury lettering tee that was changed to the deer logo one within hours on a one-day giveaway. Or maybe that "please stop me" paper bag mask?

iirc it's unlocked at 130 and you wear it with nothing but underwear until you get to about 145

I never played on the last gen, but I got the Vinyl shirt on the Christmas roulette drop, I had an outfit when the Nightclub update came out that was made with ton of glitches haha.

I will not get into this e-peen contest of, I have this or have that, but one thing I am "proud of", is that, well, not many people have this, but even less people have two of these.

Oh something I forgot about, run in the circles of glitching that the RCV parking spot have no restrictions, no blacklist, no nothing because the RCV technically is a cop car, so I saw like two years ago, a screenshot of a Police Cruiser PV parked on the RCV spot, this was a privately owned glitch, so the guy was asking for money if you wanted to do yourself, as you can expect, nobody bought it, and I never heard about it again, fun fact there are modifications for the cop cars like different bullbars and so on, the people that knew how to do it (from the krew of the dude) would also not brag about it probably because they where afraid of this being patched.

 

The thing is that at some point Rockstar patched this special parking spots so you could not put nothing other than the right vehicle on them, and this is the question, or either the Cop car vanished, or it survived and probably now is impossible to put it there (maybe).

 

So if I could bet what is the rarest thing in GTA on-lline, I would say a PV Police Cruiser, until Rockstar decide to release Cops and Crooks.

Man I remember when the hearse and the Nemesis were considered rare vehicles lol. In terms of rare items, I'd have to say the asshole t-shirt and the dev shirts are probably some of the more rare items in GTA Online, as well as the twitch shirts.

I have many collectable T-shirts (I'm a GTAO day one player), not sure how many of them would be considered "rare". I mostly rock special movie tees with Knife After Dark and Twilight Knife being my faves. Never seen another player sporting them, except maybe when they were released back in 2016 or whatever.

 

I have many beer hats from circa 2015. Not sure if it's all of them or not. A few masks as well. A few tattoos. Illuminated xmas sweaters...
