Obey Tailgater without interior trash?

I bought a Tailgater via Southern San Andreas and it bothers me that there is a soda cup hanging in my dashboard. I see that others have coffee cups as well. I want to know before I sell my current car and buy another one if there are chances of obtaining one without the interior cups?

Thanks

Unfortunately you have to keep buying them untill one appears with nothing inside.

Or do a merge glitch with a car that has no trash inside, I don't know if there's any merge glitch active though.

It is either buying it again and again or merging to bodystyle 0 with the: Extra #1 being an e-cola can / Extra #2 being a Burger Shot cup / Extra #3 being Coffe cup.

If you are on the PC, if you buy the car and crash the game the car data will get corrupted and you get a car "without extras", however the car will be sent to a random garage and you will not be able to sell it (only to overwrite it), any attempt to sell with trigger that message of: You can't sell cars over 50K bla bla bla (because the game think is a dupe or something).

Ahh yes... the Tailgater S interior trash debacle. I've been there so i know what it feels to have those annoying 2014 feature on a 2021 car since i was the first one to notify this forum about it.

Apparently, since the Tailgater S uses interior from Rapid GT, the car has an undesirable extras carried on from vanilla cars in form of interior clutter. This particular one of mine has that ugly air freshener in the left vent.

I had to buy 2 more just to get the clean interior version. WTF R*?

WAIT? IS IT THE NORMAL TAILGATER OR THE TAILGATER S? Since both of them feature interior clutter.

Wait does it? The new one too? WTF? I thought he was talking about the OG one, well the crash trick still applies if the new one have this stuff on it, the thing that might have been changed from one to another is the "extra" number positions.

Yep! For some reason, R* forgot to remove the interior clutter extras flag when reusing the 9F interior for it. And to add insult to injury, you can trigger those clutters to appear by scrolling to the interior options (Steering wheel, dash, and even trim and accent color).

I mean, look at the above picture that i took, thats actually the Tailgater S interior.

So it's like the Patriot but reversed. In R* infinite wisdom, when they add the new features for the Patriot, you have the old "extra" system, and the new buyable parts. So to avoid conflict and clipping parts, now when you bring a Patriot to LSC, it will turn Bodystyle 0 (all street parts will disappear), they could have programmed that so if an "extra" would be deleted in case of a conflict like: Extra #5 (old bullbars) vs any bought new bullbar, but no, that is too much work I guess.

So I made a joke car that I call "The hate crime", that I used 5 glitches to get done. And just from getting inside LSC the roof lights, exhausts, and bullbars would disappear, so basically this monstrosity is frozen on time now (can only be modified with glitches safely).

WARNING: "Hate Crime"  (the mentioned car I was talking about)

Spoiler

With this being said, you can also clean the interior of the Tailgater S doing the exact same procedure.

First just buy one of the Custom interior trim options, then just keep scrolling until you land on the default interior trim without the garbage enabled, it doesn't even have to be fast to do that.

So it works just like the no spoiler glitch ? Good to know that

Buy the car until you get a clean one.  I however like the the added stuff inside the cars. Adds emersion. I used have a garage with only cars that had coffee cups. I still  remember the hours spent looking for a Phenix with bean machine back in the day.

Me on the other hand spent hours and hours and sold over 250 personal vehicles to replace them with perfectly clean interiors. And this includes getting rid of air fresheners and ifruit phone holders haha!

There's a possibility of the clutter returning after you change trims again right? If so, I'd rather have an originally clean uncontaminated car from the start and I'm willing to do trial and error

It does not come back, unless you decide to cycle the interior options again.

But then, just cycle them again until it disappears.
