Sparrow is worse than oppressor mk2 for cayo perico.

Less than it takes to travel in the ocean back and forth 4 times during the preps

Doubt. Just sitting down to commandeer the sub is at least 1 such trip. You know when you're using the Sparrow you can fly straight at the sub full speed without having to slow down right? And as mentioned if you relocate the sub once during the preps from the docks to the beach that's probably less travel distance than to a beached sub at the same location.

It's not about the size, but how you handle it.

That's exactly where I always land it for that setup.

So? I don't care whether the Sparrow is faster or slower.

It is convenient and unlike the OPMK2 I don't look like a f*ckboi dipsh*t flying it.

I see many people claiming that the sparrow is much better than the oppressor mk2 for cayo preps. It is not, and people who claim so just can't resist herd mentality.

It is true that the top speed of the sparrow is greater, but its acceleration is slower, and it is much harder to park and navigate tight spaces with.

All my cayos are done with oppressor mk2. I gather intel, do the kosatka prep, then fast travel to vespucci beach and manually drive the sub into the sand. From there I do all preps with the mk2. It always ends up falling from the sub, but that's not a problem, just jump down in the sand and get it.

Takes me 50 minutes to do the heist consistently. People who promote the sparrow often take over an hour.

In sparrow's defense, it is good for traveling from the sub to the location of the plane in the gather intel mission (after fast travelling first to save time). But that's about it. Oppressor mk2 ftw.

I disagree. I do all my setups with the sparrow and it usually doesnt take me more than 40 minutes.

Its easy to navigate and park if you know how to handle a helicopter. I can even park it under the highway overpass on one of the keycard locations and fly it back out without a problem.

Schlongberg Sachs I park it on that small bridge like other people posted.

The only times I have to park it a little further away are the two plasma cutter locations in the city center. But thats maybe a 10 second run since I can get it close to the building. Chuck a nade in there, watch everything blow up (if done right that gets rid of all the NPCs), then introduce the arriving gangsters to a load of buckshot.

And its pretty convinient too since I can go full speed over my sub press the button and get teleported inside without needing to land and worry about my vehicle sliding off.

if you need to collect the plasma cutter inbetween that allyway, just blow everyone up with the sparrow and fly in the middle, then you will automatically pick it up once close enough to the plasma cutter. no need to get out at all and you'll easily avoid those annoying cars that spawn afterwards.

I kept my sparrow unarmed, so thats not an option.

jk

I don't play my setups and if i ever do i use my CEO Buzzard, Hydra and I spam BST with Assault Shotgun, RPG, explo shotgun for indoor missions because I'm mad and noob and got no RnG skills 😐. I'm sure I did it in 45min max and I'm not even trying to make it fast. Already mentionned how fast were Cayo setups vs Casino setups.

I don't know if it's the controller, the 30fps or what - but I find it is much, MUCH harder to fly the Sparrow at full speed into the Kosatka on PlayStation 5 than it seems to be on PC, so whenever I'm on that I just slow down a bit before. Technique is the same (spamming the button), it just seems less consistent on PlayStation. Still good advice though.

Must suck not to be able to park a small helicopter or go through tight spaces with one.

On behalf of us Noobs, yesy, yes it does.

Hahaha.

But I would probably suck on a MK2 too.

Hahaha.

(Btw,I get the sarcasm.)

Is the Sparrow easier to control than the Buzzard? I just hate this Buzzard. And I know after a lot of practice I MAY be able to complete a Headhunter (yeah,I know it is the easiest thing you can do-but not for me!)

1) Any way to change the damn color of the missile box? I usually don't see it until it turns red (and that is usually focused on a cop). I can't see this little white box. Especially since I cant make the thing hover or stay still for 2 seconds.

2) I hear the Sparrow defaults to wanting to fly up. That would be better. I have to constantly click click click with my arthritic finger to keep the Buzzard from smashing into the ground.

I know I suck at this, but there has to be a better way

Ummm,how do I delete this?

It's only been a day (but I've been playing for 10 hours-retirement is great!),and I am not exactly a Pro by any means, but something clicked. The tips here ,YT vids, and practice, practice and more practice is making me feel a lot more comfy in the cockpit.

Okay. 7 hours of play time later...Goddammit!!

hehehe!

I am starting to realize I should run as soon as I accidentally Missile a cop car; or two. Once the Cop Copter(s) come, game over.

For now.

I'm starting to realize the impossible skills you need, the impossible money you need, the impossible luck you need are not impossible.

I was down to 1200 bucks and was filled with dread. I debated whether this game was for me. Before I knew it,I was buying a Buzzard Attack at almost retail price, and still had close to a million.

And I got there relatively easy. Much, much easier than my first million.

I had fun doing it.

It's just a matter of practice. Sightseer isn't a quick way to make money. It is a fun way to get competent at flying.

Have fun!

The "practice" is built into the fun.

(Ummm,7hrs later...like I said,I get obsessed. YOU have to goto work/school. THAT IS more important. Sucks to be you,but cheer up; you will be able to be obsessed and not worry about work/school in a few decades. Hehehe. Sorry for that,Young Bucks and Young Gals.Hey!  I'm old! I earned the right to give a light hearted teasin' to the young 'uns )
