Evan Moss. Had he not been such a prick and druggie, he might have been a productive person.

Ilyana Faustin. She's probably one of the only decent and non scummy characters in IV which adds to the tragicness of everything.

 

Also Ray Boccino. He's said to be a scumbag but yet he never breaks promises and always ends up getting f*cked over which is kind of sad.

The most viscerally tragic for me was Dwayne if you pick him just because the scene where you kill him (and the aftermath of it) is so gut wrenchingly depressing and regret inducing. Not really the most tragic since he wasn't exactly the greatest of people and a lot of characters who were way less deserving of bad things happening to them have suffered worse, but he was a tragic character in general and damn that death was sad.

I mean, he was probably responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people including feeding someone into a trash compactor alive and torturing people, so he's pretty far down the feeling sorry for list.

To mention someone who hasn't been mentioned yet I'd say Roman if you choose the ending where he dies. He dies on his wedding and he didn't really deserve it. Sure he made the wrong choices when he messed with the Albanian mob and Vlad but everything else that was thrown his way was a result of Niko's actions, not his. Once he got his life going he just died.

I would say Niko, as he was the only person who lost everyone due to a real war which was hell.

Louise Cassidy-Williams. She had such an abusive husband and had to rely on one of her blood relatives to take care of her baby when she died. It would’ve been nice to actually see her survive IMO. Her whole life story is nothing but sad, really.

GTA 5's Floyd. Trevor broke into his apartment, abused him in many different ways (probably raped him) and in the end he was murdered soon after his girlfriend broke up with him. Ouch.

To be perfectly honest, the more I put thought into it, Floyd from GTA V is even more tragic than Louise Cassidy-Williams. The only thing he ever did wrong was stealing a pencil in elementary school and regretting it well into adulthood. I also am uncertain whether Debra from GTA V really is that crazy or if she was just pushed over the edge by Trevor. Who knows? Perhaps Floyd and Debra were overall getting along okay until Trevor Philips showed up and she found out. Louise Cassidy-Williams was a drug addict so it’s not like she was a saint by any means even though she’s still very tragic. Screw choosing to kill Trevor in order to avenge Johnny Klebitz, man. Choose to kill Trevor in the end to avenge Floyd. I mean, Johnny K was still a criminal, much like any other GTA protagonist so he kinda had it coming.

I lean towards Debra being a pretty abusive spouse before Trevor arrived. It was implied that she was having an affair, so that already is a red flag in their relationship. Debra having so much anger to Floyd also kinda indicates she hated him for a long time.

Definitely Kate lol at cynicalmexican calling her a mary sue that term is way too overused shes just a law abiding woman stuck in a criminal family. That is what makes her death in revenge so tragic out of everyone in the wedding she deserved to die the least.

You're right, especially when you consider that the cause of it was Niko following her advice to become an honest citizen. It was trying to get out of crime that ironically led to her death when you'd normally expect the opposite.

I saw the Professional's video on the new Saints Row game and completely forgot that the leader of the Ronin was buried alive. f*ck me that was dark as f*ck.

I want to say Johnny Klebitz but his death was more so stupid than it was tragic, I know what they were trynna do with his death but it was the dumbest thing ever, especially when they could've achieved a similar thing without killing him.
