Stealth Stat

I watched videos and most said outright once you get your stats up they are good forever (Strenth,Flying,Stealth). I got my Stealth up to full by rubberbanding and walking in circles. I'm pretty sure Stealth will come in handy when I hit my goal of buying the sub and Sparrow for the Cayo Heist.

 

But I just noticed my Stealth stat is down to one bar now. 

 

Were the videos wrong? Do I have to keep doing this?

Did your game save properly when you were done leveling your stealth?

Or did you just close it when you were done?

If they patched it/it doesn't work any more then just play a bunch of contact missions with lots of enemies and make sure you're in stealth mode when you kill them (by shooting them, doesn't matter).
