CynicalMexican
What are cars from each game that just don't fit with the game's vibe? Not necessarily wasted or bad, just out of place. GTA III - None, I felt all the vehicles fit the vibe of the game well since there weren't too many. GTA VC - Any of the older 50s/60s vehicles, should have been used for more 80s type cars. GTA SA - plenty. The Hermes and Broadway have no business in this game, as they would have been completely out of traffic in 1992. The Bullet wasn't even in production in 1992, it was based on a car from 2004. As much as I like the Elegy, it wouldn't have been found in 1992 America as it never was sold there until 2014. It was only added because of Fast and Furious. GTA LCS - The Freeway. Idk why, it doesn't feel right to drive a chopper in such a city. GTA VCS - the BMX/bike, Vice City was too small to have these, and the player likely would have missed this. GTA 4 - The Sultan. Again, the car just doesn't fit the atmosphere. GTA 5 - The f*cking mememobiles. NightmanCometh96, Jeansowaty, adam9797 and 1 other
Ondr4H
Well bullet is based upon GT40 which is from 1960 and that is completely fine. Thats just coincidence for me, Ford GT from 2004 is just retro vehicle based from car from 1960. Most out of place is that modern station wagon from LCS in 1998. Its purely based upon Dodge Magnum. [Ambient]
The GTA San Andreas version of the Bullet, which is based on the 2005 Ford GT. Dammit R*, it's a 13 years old difference between the SA's time setting and the Ford GT's release. Motherf*ckers could've easily based the SA Bullet on the 1960's Ford GT40, goddamit. Good think Crack Yo Neck fixed the issue with his '66 Vapid Bullet mod. The Elegy is also kinda off, but it doesn't hurt my mind as much as the Bullet does. A good deal of vehicles added to GTA Online. From vehicles that have never seen the United States IRL, through futuristic military sh*t to f*cking garbage straight from sci-fi movies or newer Saints Row games. Algonquin Assassin
Does it have to be a car? Vehicle is a pretty broad term so I'll say the jetpack. I'm sure that was common sight in the Compton ghetto in 1992. Be-Deliver
Not saying the cars don't fit in GTA IV, but I find it funny whenever I'm driving a sports car from Algonquin to Bohan, turning right immediately after exiting the bridge connecting both islands and there's a line of sports cars parked in supposedly the poverty riddled place in whole of Liberty City. This old meme sure does say something about it: anizawa, H-G, Xane_MM and 4 others 3

This old meme sure does say something about it: I’m thinking it’s an issue with vehicle spawning that’s wasn’t rectified during development because it only seems to affect that part of the city for some reason as it does it with anything. Not just sports cars. Like you can drive an Infernus around Broker and there won’t all of a sudden be a heap of them spawn in traffic/parked. Still it’s rather amusing. sefus
The fact that the Los Santos police department uses Ford Taurus style cars, while the Sheriff department (that for some reason also has jurisdiction in Blaine county) uses Literal 90s crown vics. kobeni
Honestly the non-US market imports don't bother me at all, I actually find them pretty cool, it's nice to drive a period accurate car in the GTAverse that would otherwise not be available irl. Slight anachronisms in vehicles aren't that bad either, though I can definitely understand the argument against the Bullet. I just find it a huge letdown that a lot of the cars and bikes featured in San Andreas don't actually reappear in LCS (though I have to admit the new cars were really cool in this). I understand that it's keeping in line with the atmosphere of 3 as well as PSP limitations but damn, there were so many distinctively 90s looking cars like the Premier, Merit and the Euros that wouldn't look out of place in 1998 LC. Speaking of which, if they do go back to remastering LC, some more cars from the 1995-2001 period is a must.

GTA-Biker
GTA SA Bullet, since it wasn't even around in the 90s. GTA 5/Online Mememobiles, stuff like flying cars and bikes, submarine cars, rocket cars, Batmobiles, KITTs, Tron bikes, etc. feel more like something out of some futuristic SF game set a few decades into the future rather than from GTA set in current time (in fact,I don't even remember GTA 2,which was set in the future, having stuff like that). Oddball cars like Cheburek, Asbo and Brioso 300.A Lada Riva, an early 2000s Opel Corsa and a classic Fiat 500 seem unusual on the roads of fictional California, but I do actually like them and was happy to see them added to the game, mostly because they can sometimes be found where I live (especially the Corsa, which is still quite common). I would agree if you're referring to the Sultan RS in particular but the regular Sultan fits fine imo. On the other hand, i don't know how it is in the east coast but I don't think i would see hundreds of 1950s land yachts in pristine condition in 2008 Manhattan (i.e Voodoo & Peyote). To be fair, production for the panther bodies like the crown vic didn't end until 2011 and a lot of them were still in service across North America until few years ago. Probably not. Still, i think reusing the police cars from GTA 4 would made more logical sense than using old Esperantos. ----- Less with cars but more with the fact that all vehicles in Cayo Perico uses San Andreas plates. Am i missing something? Why don't they have local plates? Why even have plates on a private island? I know it's a minor detail but still. You can say limitations but a modder already managed to add dozens of new plates that can spawn in traffic. Lock n' Stock
I'd say that some of TBOGT's wackier vehicles felt out-of-place in IV's Liberty City, but nonetheless fit the tone TBOGT was going for.
