Chrom4tic
Does tyres affect anything in the car on races or they are just cosmetic ? I saw someone with glitched f1 tyres in races doing best laps and impossible to catch up.

Jamwes
Short answer: Off Road tires are best on a small number of old cars due to a flag on the car. For everything else, tires don't matter. Long answer: Watch this video. HopalongCasidy, Chrom4tic, Gaffa and 2 others 4
Plocospermataceae
Here's a video specifically about wheels https://youtube.com/watch?v=OBpGkY7jyL8 Basically as Jamwes said, there are a small number of cars that are smoother over bumps if the tires are thicker. But on most cars it makes no difference I don't know what cars you were racing, but some other things might also affect how the car handles over bumps, such as the suspension. Or at least I think so? Some cars also just take bumps better than other cars in general. But it's also possible that the guy you were racing was just a fast driver over all Edited August 10, 2021 by Plocospermataceae bruh I can't remember how you embed YouTube videos Chrom4tic

Gaffa
There is also this very detailed document that will explain some things too. It's interesting that the actual, individual type of wheel you use can change how a car feels, even if only by a subtle amount, but you may need a lot of experience with one particular vehicle to notice any changes. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HAzIIJMTc8aPIXXfn-fjYa27bspS27zcnsUOqAbbzAI/edit Chrom4tic, Hazzardtohimself and Blondude 2
Taterman
Interesting thread, I've been wondering about this too. Years ago, I read the tuners were best all around and have used them ever since but they aren't the best looking. I guess it's OK to try other types if it doesn't make much of a difference. SebKle78
Since the purchase of my nightclub and the Speedo Custom i had muscle class rims - Revolver i think - installed on the Speedo Custom. Recently i have changed them to street class steelies. For me it was a huge difference. Now the Speedo Custom has more traction and a better handling overall. It doesn't spin out as fast as with muscle class rims and it accelerates out of standing still with less wheel spin. Take a look at the document Gaffa has posted and test it on your own. Worth to try Taterman
