early this morning while i was in valentine i encounter a stage coach and a wagon stopped in the street (the npc drivers couldn't figure out how to easily pass each other).

i pull out my guns, one of the npc's on the stage coach gets mad at me and aims his shotgun at me, i quickly put my guns away and he blows me away.

i respawn and i go to where i died and i see my dead carcass and a destroyed stage coach (a random must have blown it up).

have you ever encountered your carcass after getting killed??

yes I have. shot down in the streets of st. denis...in the COP-XP-alley...multiple times I saw myself lying there, felt like PRESTIGE or something. of course the hats were there aswell.

Tesla's trick used in The Prestige (2006) could also explain the recent horse cloning!

Yeah, it happens very often if the players nearby stay close to your body.

In the early days, all the time. Saint Denis and Valentine,  were warzones. The streets would be littered with player bodies. I few of us would pick up our corpses and look for proper burial grounds.

 

These days after a mission, I run into a duplication of myself. I tip my hat and never get a reply, I just watch myself, walk slowly into the forest or a river.

I used to have that happen a lot in the beta days after leaving the stable. If I interacted with him it would hard crash my game, guess it was a problem with the matrix?

 

Yep, seen my share of my guy's corpse.

 

My daughter found out that she can only carry one of herself...

Whenever you want to piss off a griefer that killed you or did something you didnt like, when you kill them off their horses, put the bodies on their horses, and watch their reaction ^^.

Yes, while I was on a wagon.  I waved at another player, who then shot me so when I respawned, I could see my own body sitting bent over on the wagon.

I lasso my doppelganger and ride around town dragging her corpse to let it be known I don't approve of imposters. I consider them evil clones/ lesser kittehs and I dispose of them properly. I am also kinda weird.

I have not just encountered my carcass once killed. I have been killed by my headless, walking corpse (modding S.O.B.).
