A6pukoc
In GTA games characters usually have two models - one for cutscene, another for actual gameplay. Does RDR2( and RDR) utilizes same technique?

Another question - does RDR2 work like GTAIV / GTA V, so game uses one model for Protagonist during cutscenes and gameplay, while other characters have one model for gameplay and another one for cutscenes? Buddy Hightower
No, I think all characters have a cut scene version and and gameplay version. Obvious on guys like Person, and especially on Abigale.

spoonman039
actually, characters that appears in cutscenes have cutscene (well-detailed) models only. if you search the files, you can find models that starts with "cs_", but not the one that starts with "ig_". the reason why they don't need ingame models is because in GTA (so far) all ingame models have the same height, while in cutscene they may differ. in RDR2 they always differ because they handled all animations and hitboxes for both shorter and taller characters.
