Looks like RDR2 is once again being used in academia due to its accuracy! Prof. Tore Olsson from the University of Tennessee is going to run an experimental course about the real History behind RDR and RDR2, as a lot of it seems to be so accurate. The Prof. first talked about it back in February with some bullet points, but he has now shared the syllabus so everyone can see. Check it out!

 

Games can absolutely belong in the class room and we're really excited to see R* once again used in academic works like the previous one about its fauna and ecosystems, and how they helped players learn more about how it all works IRL by looking at RDR2!

Oh my god that's cool. These are the kinds of classes I dream of signing up for as an elective, despite graduating from college three years ago.
