when you play RDR 2 what activities do you enjoy? I got a list.

Hunting? for trapper?

collectibles?

robbing and killing?.

exploring and enjoying the scenery? .

fishing activities ?

major challenges ?

main missions.

picking plants and crafting recipes?

completing random events.

gathering and finding secret weapon items.

or side missions?

or all of the above.

I will create a poll about this one.

I want your input?

or if there is no poll? Just tell me what you selected and why?

Thanks.

My favorite activity in RDR 2 is poker, hands down. It's the only card game I like really, and in this game it is really well done and fun to play. Have spent hours and hours winning and losing a buck or two at a time. I've played nearly every PC poker version that has come down the pike, and RDR 2s version is the best of the bunch. My favorite game is the one at the saloon in the northeast corner of St Denis. But I'll play anywhere, anytime, except in camp so I don't have to look at Swanson and Pearson.

I also really enjoy the hunting, and it is rare that I return to camp without some game hanging on the horse. I like to take my time with this game, spending countless hours in free roam, and most of it is spent hunting, fishing and playing poker.

I completed the game 100% twice during lockdown (had too much time on my hand lol) so I did pretty much everything you stated, I don't play the game much anymore but when I do, I susually go fishing because I like it and its peacefull, and If im not fishing, I'll probably be playing Poker, because, just as the post above me stated, its my favorite card game and I have spent a considerable amount of time playing it. Sometimes when I feel very evil or bored, I kidnap people (usually important ones like town sherrifs) and drag them across the state for lols.

dominoes really tests your patience.

can be very difficult if you do not choose the correct tiles first.

five finger fillet is good.

until I stab my finger in half and the entire screen slows you down with a shake can get very annoying.

Poker with the gang always my favourite activity.

Being a wanderer who rides around the map interacting with characters, locations, animals, treasures etc. The ambience soundtrack is very relaxing and the visuals are stunning... so I can say that wandering around in RDR2 can be very therapeutic.

Robbing homesteads - I'll wait until nightfall, find a secluded spot to hitch my horse and then observe the homestead from a distance with the binoculars. Have a quick cigarette, fling on the balaclava and then hogtie the occupants, dump them in the property and let them watch me ransack the place dry.

Hunting - Always something I need for the trapper or for camp upgrades. Hunting is one of the most satisfying things in the game for me - I love the process of trying to find a specific animal, then looking for a 3 star pristine version, slowly stalking until I'm in a good position to get a shot off, pushing the call button then finally getting a clean kill. I almost exclusively hunt with the bow and never use dead eye - so much more satisfying that way.

Illegal hunting - If I need a perfect cow, pig, ox, sheep pelt - similar to how I set up robbing homesteads, I'll find a ranch, observe from a distance and sneak into the animal enclosures at night. Uusually killing them with the lasso and knife method. Skin the carcass and then disappear into the night with my perfect pelt.

Cleaning weapons - It's such a small feature and something that many have complained about but for some reason I really like cleaning my weapons, especially on like a river bank or by a lake at sun set. Just adds to the immersion.

Taking it slow - this isn't really an activity per say but I just love taking it slow, watching a sunrise/sunset, having a coffee or cigarette by a lake, slowly trotting through shallow water along the Dakota River, admiring the scenery from one of the many sit locations across the map, watching and listening to the water crashing down from Brandywine Drop, walking along a river bed etc. as @Wolfman_ above mentioned this game is a truly therapeutic experience.
