guerilla_man
I tried so hard to get a perfect panther pelt so the first time it was not perfect plus I had the legendary buck trinket for adding perfect pelt chances of higher star rating pelt. I believe other people have been through this problem. Not expecting all these pelts will always be perfect but at least by every respawn that should change. The pelts were either poor or good never perfect every single respawn and I was becoming really annoyed by it . what do I do to fix this issue? I know not every respawn should do this. So I restarted my game from scratch because it was pissing me off. Usually the panther pelts are perfect first go but not this time. is any 1 else having difficulty getting perfect panther pelt every time it respawns? is it a bug? or Just a annoying bug that won't fix. pelts should generally change after every respawn. should I Just go to the next chapter if it does this? or restart my game or console? This never happened to me before. Might be a glitch or bug I play on ps4. Timerican
I haven't experienced that and I'm on my 3rd playthrough since the game released. Are you using the right weapon/ammo to kill it? I believe I used my Bolt Action with Express ammo and got a perfect pelt each time. Make sure you're using Express and make sure it's a headshot. I think an Improved Arrow will give you perfect as well if it's a 3 star Panther. Which I'm sure you're aware of what to use, but it doesn't hurt to throw that out there in case your weapon defaulted back to Regular ammo because my pistols/revolvers tend to do that all the time for whatever reason. Good luck, I'd say make a support ticket at R* but you know how that goes. Edit: I also used bait to lure it out, maybe that might give you better results, too? Edit: I also used bait to lure it out, maybe that might give you better results, too? yeah I always make sure my Springfield rifle is clean and sharp and always use express ammo. Maybe it was not always perfect who knows? but eventually I get a perfect panther pelt like all the other animal pelts of course. If this happens again Just ascend to the next chapter in the game and like you said get the higher grade rifle which will give a sharp clean head shot and use either split point or express ammo. express ammo is Better because it is good stopping power for a good strong kill. I was not doing it all wrong but it was not perfect that's all. maybe the pelt did not have time to fluctuate to a 3 star and was glitched? on 2 or 1 star to stars? maybe it needed refreshing as I may not of been giving it enough time to refresh? Edited August 4, 2021 by guerilla_man other animal pelts. fluctuating stars in each respawn.
