kicked by other players - why?
facility,autoshop - are they worth buying and what to do with them?

 

oh and how to do Cayo ? - tried it a few times lastly getting kicked of the island.

Any advice appreciated.

Character 2 - Open pause menu, go to Online, swap character. When you select the slot for character 2, you can make your second character.

Kicked by other players: depends which type of kick.

• players are voting to kick you:

  If you are joining a freeroam session and there are 2-4 players in the same crew, they are probably trying to keep the session for themselves, and will kick anyone that joins, nothing personal. Me and my friends are guilty.

  Always check player count when joining a freemode session, try to find a session with at least 10 players who are not in the same crew, and you shouldn't get vote kicked.

   

• you have been kicked from the job (by the host):

  In case of races, if you win one, some hosts will kick you for that because they wanted to win.
  In case of the heists, with apartment heist or doomsday heist they might kick you for being low level.
  If you get kicked from a Cayo Perico heist or a casino heist, the host usually forgot to close matchmaking, but wants to play with his friends only.
  Usually these heists are not worth joining because they will fail, especially Casino heist. They usually forgot an important prep, making the mission Unwinnable By Mistake

  The following "optional" preps should never be skipped. If the host skipped them, leave.

  • (every approach) level 2 keycards. If the host didn't get them, you have to do a really crappy hack on all the door keypads and usually the host is too stupid, lazy, or both, to do it himself.
  • (Aggressive approach) Duggan shipments. Removes the guards' bulletproof helmets and gives them worse weapons. You won't stand a chance against guards with heavy rifles that take 3-4 headshots to kill.
    On Big Con and Silent&sneaky you shouldn't get shot at, so it doesn't matter. On silent&sneaky and The Big Con, the guards with helmets can either be taken down with meelee attack, or you can ignore them.

Facility, autoshop

If you mean the Doomsday Facility, not worth it if you're just starting out. The preps require public freemode sessions, and all the setups require help from other players.

Autoshop, depends. Do you have a Kosatka? The Cayo Perico heist pays better. I played all the contracts, because it was new content, but only once. And I can't stand those 2 clowns in my autoshop.

 

How to do Cayo Perico heist?

The scope:

You just have to be careful, take it slowly, and stay aware of your surroundings all the time. Just staying out of all the guard's vision cones isn't enough.

Sometimes they turn around and spot you instantly. Keep a safe distance from all the guards, just in case they turn around. They can hear you too.

If you have trouble getting past the checkpoint during the scope, you could also steal a boat from the North docks, take it all the way around the island to the main docks and go on land there.

Take the boat near the compound and you should find the drainage tunnel too, which unlocks the cutting torch prep. Much better than the explosives.

Also, look through all the cameras (turn them full left to full right) to scope additional entry points.

 

For the preps, always steal the cutting torch, not the explosives.

For the finale, maintain stealth and kill yourself and restart if you get spotted.

On the planning screen, you can only choose drainage tunnel (you can only select main gate with explosives), but don't worry about that.

You can steal the keycards for the side gates from the guards around the compound.

I recommend not getting the explosives. Using those will make you blow up the main gate and alert everyone.

Good to know but the cayo stuff sounds a bit complicated.

I can make another character???

I was flirting with idea of buying the game again just so I could make a new character. It honestly seems cheaper than what RS wants to charge in GTA$ to change character thru the Interaction Menu.

I have a very easy to remember character name. I need to change that! Unfortunately I made many twerps on MK2 Oppressors mad at me. Of course not by shooting them down but my texting them what their life will be if they keep being little dicks that won't allow a hard working man to sell his coke.

Pretty sure more than one cried.
