Jade95 Posted July 30, 2021 Share Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) In Little China Park, a park located near Chinatown in Portland, there's area where several weird structures are placed. Check the image below. Some say these are exercise machines, but i don't think so. As you can see, cars fit perfectly in it. Someone said this place was originally going to be a customization shop, but there's no information about this place. Although It definitely looks like some kind of car lifting machine, but it's useless because there's no space below the car. I always thought this place was going to be more than empty area we have now, because it has dedicated road as demonstrated in the above image. What do you guys think this place is(or was going to be)? Is there anything I missed while I am researching this place? Let me know! I also thought those were exercise machines before someone told me it's car lifting machines few years ago but I had no idea those machines were actually car lifting machine for parking lot. Its such a curious area to have them. I agree. Although the park is populated, it doesn't look like it needs car lifts. It would've make sense if they were in regions like Aspatria or Torrington.
