Am I the only person that sees pedestrians randomly vanishing infront of my eyes when I try to shoot/punch them?

 

If yes, is there a script or mod that prevents that?

How often does this happen? What are your PC specs? Are you running mods?

 

And maybe try verifying the game files' integrity or reinstalling the game. If you are running mods, try uninstalling them to see if that's the cause.

I verified the game files and it still happens.

Maybe your game modification "Maximum Peds and Maximum Vehicles" have a bug, due to limited amount of ped spawn in places.
