OperatorSx Posted May 20, 2003 Share Posted May 20, 2003 weird ive been playing for a while with no problems no suddenly i bought a building and now whenever i load up gta vice city.. dont even have to load a game.. my subwoofer will just hum a loud annoying sound.. all i get is this bass hum.. and it screws up all my other sounds.. whats going on? If not, push back to standard EAX and it goes away (for me anyway). that is exactly what my problem was, the game autoconfigured itself to EAX3 (and still does if I let it), my Audigy only supports EAX, I had the evil bass hum near buildings along with some other sound quirks. After noticing what the autoconfigure did, I switched it and all my audio problems went away. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
