Of course it is possible but for now wont be implemented. Roadmap will be like that, I will share the mod in October. For now I am doing only tests. Trying exceptional cases and doing long gameplays. I have been a software engineer for 10 years. Life has lots of responsibilities so that after this mod I wont work this kind of big projects anymore. but... This topic won't be dead. Keith Ward Posted October 2, 2021 Share Posted October 2, 2021 Alrighty, I've played the mod for about 4 hours now, so here are my thoughts. The new vehicles look great for the most part, however they now all handle like complete sh*t. Most of the sports cars spin out easily, and make GTA 4's driving physics seem smooth. You can actually see the cars spinning out in a lot of the cutscenes - which is hilarious! Lance Vance almost kills Tommy when driving away in his first cutscene. The motorcycles go from zero to one hundred in about 2 seconds, and they are almost impossible to control. There was nothing wrong with how the vehicles handled in the original game, so why change it so much? I also don't see why a speedometer was tacked onto the HUD, it's completely unnecessary. I didn't realise how heavily this mod would lean on Vice Cry. Vice Cry is a fairly solid mod for VC, but all of its problems still carry over to this mod too. Some of the newer building designs don't work in the cutscenes for the game (specifically the one where Lance is introduced - where he and Tommy are clipping through a building), and a lot of the replacement building designs and colours look bland and out of place. I even found buildings that had no textures on them at all! The new character models are great, and I have no real complaints about them. However a lot of the pedestrian models don't seem to follow a uniform look, and seemed cobbled together from various other mods and games. Tommy now moves like a re-skinned CJ, which looks strange at first, but I don't mind it. The option to change between outfits at the clothing icon is a welcome addition that I really love, and a lot of the re-designed Tommy outfits looks great. Speaking of the clothing icons (and all the save game icons, for that matter), I have no idea why they now all lie flopped on the ground like a deflated balloon. This looks really stupid, and I don't see any logical reason for making this change. As for the over-all look of the new interiors, they seem to be a mix of game styles, varying from VC style to SA style to VCS with no real consistency between them. However, it is so great to have so many interiors to explore, even if they are taken from other mods for the most part. A lot of the new interiors are enter-able, but so many have no option to exit! I cannot escape from the hospital, Lance Vance's house, the Tiki Lounge, just to name a few. Tommy's shadow in most of the interiors also seems to be in strange places. The icon to enter buildings is a dull red/pink, and it very hard to see for the most part. They should be way more bright and visible, since you can easily walk straight past entrances to buildings. A lot of the new features (such as the boxing feature, or the slot machine in the Malibu Club, the dating feature with Mercedes) are interesting, but are quite glitchy and not very well implemented. When Tommy learns his new fighting technique, he glitches and flashes in and out of existence and can barely hit anyone. When Mercedes and Tommy go on a date, Tommy asks Mercedes if she wants to "do Love Fist" for no reason at all. They then go dancing in a nightclub, with no option to stop dancing unless you punch Mercedes in the face. Even though I followed the Readme instructions to the letter, I still experienced a fair few crashes in my time playing the mod. This is standard when playing Vice Cry, so I'm not surprised that it's still present here. Overall, this feels like a great first draft. This is a fantastic effort for a solo modder. But nothing feels polished, and it seems like a real Frankenstein's monster of a mod - with various pieces of other mods stitched together in an inconsistent way. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the better Vice City mods I've played (and I've played a LOT), but it's lack of bug testing, originality and visual consistency really holds it back. Thanks for the feedback. I agree with some of them but imo you are making comparison with SAN ANDREAS mods not VC mods. If I compare with added features, imo it is the most stable mod for vc. for some points I found your review unfair. You could ask how to finish dancing feature (just press enter exit vehicle button) and for example, entered places can be exited from closest doors to Tommy when you spawned inside. Go to the door and only wait. for the last word, I am so sorry, you spent 4 GB download for this garbage(at least I understand it from you review) but I am still happy, this mod will be played and maybe someone else also will have fun rather than only me. maybe someone will learn how to make coding.(there are more than 20.000 lines of codes added by me) I wont touch anything for this mod. It was my goodbye project and goodbye everyone. I understand you put a lot of work into this project, and I'm glad you're very proud of it, but you need to be able to take criticism in order to improve in the future. This is not a perfect piece of work, but it is still fun. I was being honest, not unfair. I'm not going to kiss your arse if there's obvious things that you've overlooked. I'm sure other players will encounter bugs and glitches too while playing, so my review will give them an idea of what to expect. Please don't take what I said as a personal attack. I also said you did a fantastic job as a solo modder - don't just focus on the negative points! I will continue to play this mod in the future, it's just a shame that it doesn't feel finished. There are some problems, I know and I will send small updates as I mentioned before but I didnt want to cause more delays and wanted to upload it. MOD WON’T BE ALONE WILL BE UPDATED, FOUND BUGS WILL BE REMOVED WITH ORDER OF IMPORTANCE AND THERE WILL BE SOME MINI GAMES FOR INTERIORS. But for me it is still more stable than Cyberpunk If you and all other people want to help me, just take screenshot of problem, and type possible solution. Or send the screenshot of car with bad handling. I will take care one by one. The hardest point for this kind of big mods is the initial release and for me all downloaders played it game worked fine, for rest of minimal problems or adjustments we can solve all together. All files exported from vice cry 1.8 so that ide lines or numbers are not intersecting but of course some tricks have to be done to play it on vice cry. But if somebody does it to vice cry, all potential risks from Take Two under his or her responsibility. Vanilla versiyonu'nu da google da aradım ama bulamadım.Yardımcı olabilir misin? (eng: I'm confused.I downloaded the 2 parts and extracted part 1 into the unmodded Vice City.Then i opened the game via GTALAUNCHER.exe as administrator.Everything was ok until ı tried to enter the interiors.I couldn't get inside of any of them.I searched the vanilla version of the game on google but couldn't find anything.Can you or somebody explain this to me more detailed about how to setup?
