Fixes and mods for Vanilla IV

Hey!

 

I know this question has been asked for ages, but everything I've read isn't clear enough and I don't want to revive old topics. 

 

I've recently bought a gaming laptop and I'm revisiting GTA IV because its my favourite game of the series. Thing is, the port sucks and there's constant FPS stuttering when driving around Algonquin and other busy areas, plus all the shadow, texture pop-ins and bugs are hard to ignore after playing newer games. I tried Vulkan and other stuff but I'm too stupid to make it work correctly. My system is not the problem because I can play RDR2 at 50-60fps on medium/high.

 

I'm looking for a fix that solves all those problems. I'm using the 1.0.7.0 version of the game (pirated version) but I'm open to switching versions and even buying the game legally if it improves the experience. I'm also using Killatomate's Realistic Driving and Reality IV 2.0, so I'm also open to suggestions that improve the game's world without f*cking up the vanilla feel. 

 

Thanks in advance and sorry for asking the same question again! Hope this thread can be useful for newbie modders like me. I'd really like to stream my gameplay of this amazing game, but it all depends on how much I can fix it.
