predalien__
My Frames drop as soon as I perform any action inside a building, like repairing a car at LS customs, using the elevator inside the casino etc. I already tried everything I could think of, like Deleting every GTa-related file and Reinstalling, limiting my Frames, setting the Graphics to the lowest level, and Clearing my Standby-cache. Help would be appreciated, thanks in Advance

DustyDude
What are the specs? (Like Intel I5 cpu with 1060 gpu,16 Gig memory, etc) (This game doesn't take much-I'm running just fine on a HP Ryzen 4700G that I bumped up to SSD and 16 Gig memory-that is a low-end computer). Is it just this game giving you problems? If so,it is something in your copy of GTA,or a setting. When you say your frames drop, what exactly do you mean? If you are using a program like FRAPS to measure framerate, then your fps will drop when there are isn't much going on-there is simply not a lot of frames to redraw. I have an Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2070 Super gpu, 16 gig memory, yes its just this game, I havent found out where the problem lies, i bought Gta via Steam. by Framedrops I mean the Game randomly Freezing completly, including sound andeverything, however me pressing W still translates to the Action within the game, despite me not seeing/hearing any reaction from the game. As said, the Frames freeze randomly, when im not oving, when im driving, when im walking, it doesnt seem to matter
DustyDude
the specs on your computer blows this game away. Hummm.. sounds like a latency problem. It may be you ISP,but I'd open that can of worms as the last resort. Try reinstalling Steam. But mind this...Many times I go from my garage to my Counterfeit Cash Factory (about a 5 foot walk) and when I enter the screen just goes black. Nothing. No tinny spinning circle in the corner of my screen (which would at least let me know something is going on). If I wait long enough it pops into where I should be (the Counterfeit Cash Factory- five feet from where I spawned..) This tells me it is not my computer, not my revilled Comcast internet, but that it is on Rockstar's end. I may not be Steam or your setup (your computer blows the needed specs out of the water). It is probably Rockstar. Their servers suck and they know it. It is a 6 billion dollar company that forgot how they became a 6 billion dollar company. Try just waiting it out (instead of logging off) and see how that goes. Once I walked into my Cash Factory and went AFK (Away From Keyboard), it proved to me my problems were from the crappy RockStar servers.
theshadowfax
Idk if this helps or not but I have noticed an issue also affecting what appears to be framerate related. In a car when moving at high speeds there is some strange static like effect... Its like half the elements on screen are trying to load before everything else but it's happening quickly so instead of causing pauses like a lag it causes some of the screen to have a strange visual jumping effect. I think they may have messed up some of the tweaking they're doing for "speed" adjustments aka frame rate boosts for next gen consoles. The fact it occurs both in story mode and online tells me it is update related, and they already said they're going to be optimizing speed in next edition, so we may be seeing some bleeding effects since this update has content that will play into those speed updates in the next edition. Rotorhead359
Does your game occasionally run over 180fps? That is known to cause issues in GTA V. Your system should be capable of running GTA V at those framerates. Solution: install a frame limiter to keep the framerate well below 180. I had stuttering issues, and setting a frame limiter to 120fps solved it for me (I use RivaTuner)

So i guess I´ll just try to completly reinstall steam, as the other reply suggested, and waiting it out. Rotorhead359
